Guest kingkamala Posted July 29, 2003 Report Posted July 29, 2003 I was watching MTV2 and I happened to catch Fountains of Wayne's newest music video Stacy's Mom, while the song was decent it looked like Fountains of Wayne are trying way too hard to become mainstream. I thought their debut album was awesome, ****+ and their second album while not half as good, still had some decent songs on it. Has anybody heard Fountains of Wayne's new album? Is it any good?

Definately agree on the first album, a power pop classic though its true their second was very mediocre. Their great double Christmas single from a few years back 'I Want an Alien For Christmas/Man in the Santa Suit' worth checking out.
