Guest kingkamala Report post Posted July 29, 2003 I was watching MTV2 and I happened to catch Fountains of Wayne's newest music video Stacy's Mom, while the song was decent it looked like Fountains of Wayne are trying way too hard to become mainstream. I thought their debut album was awesome, ****+ and their second album while not half as good, still had some decent songs on it. Has anybody heard Fountains of Wayne's new album? Is it any good? Guest Anorak Report post Posted July 29, 2003 Haven't heard the new album so I cant help you on that one, I think its got decent enough reviews so far. Definately agree on the first album, a power pop classic though its true their second was very mediocre. He he I just realized I have both of those bands first CDs and the Verve Pipe's sucks except for the Freshmen and Republica sucks donkey nuts overall.
