Guest Downhome Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 It ills me simply because I do not feel that, in the ring, the guys should break character to such an extent as that. Kurt Angle or Brock Lesner wouldn't do anything like that on TV, and they shouldn't in the ring period. If they were fooling around backstage, in the parking lot, or something stupid like that around the fans that's one thing, but in the middle of the ring durring a show is another. It's funny and everything, and interesting, but still shouldn't happen.
Guest mach7 Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Wow, after reading a lot of the comments in this thread and the original thread with the pic, it's evident that Kurt & Brock are a LOT more comfortable with their heterosexuality than a lot of the users on this board are. Sad.
Guest Goodear Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 It was such a Bugs Bunny kissing Elmer Fudd moment that anyone would go all "OMG HOMOS" is just sort of ridiculous at this point. Besides since this is stuff happening after the shows off the air, its probably all coming from Brock and Kurt who are just wacky that way.
Guest Retro Rob Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Harmless fun. Brock's reaction right after it is what makes it. The kiss "was just supposed to be" a tension cutter, not a passionate moment like many of the house show reports sound. wow. I'm shocked No long angry rant? Nothing to be angry about. If even AS isn't pissed about this anymore, NONE of you have the right to be.
Guest godthedog Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 kurt should've said "you broke my heart, fredo" right before the kiss. that would've made it.
Invictus Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Yeah, didn't come across as bad as everyone made it out to be. Just as Goodear said, an Elmer Fudd/Bugs Bunny sort of kiss. What cracks me up is the way Kurt's music starts up after he gets his "revenge".
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Two world class wrestlers at either the amateur or pro level and no one sees a problem with them turning into cartoon characters like Bugs and Elmer Fudd. No one?
Guest Anglesault Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Two world class wrestlers at either the amateur or pro level and no one sees a problem with them turning into cartoon characters like Bugs and Elmer Fudd. No one? Eh, it wasn't on TV.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 That's the WWE mentality Anglesault is spewing out. It's like when Goldberg and HHH have their first match at a house show and then the next night the Coach announces to the world that Summerslam will be there first ever meeting. It's also why house show attendence is down. They go out of their way to make sure that your buying a ticket to something that doesn't matter. Tell that to the 10,000 people that paid for it.
