Guest DeputyHawk Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 I recently found out my grandfather fought in the International Brigade, so I've been reading up on the SCW. Lots out there on the politics and major events, but what I'm really interested in is the nitty gritty of what things were really like at ground level. I'm currently tearing through Homage To Catalonia by George Orwell and have For Whom The Bell Tolls by Hemingway next in line. Anyone know of any other good books to seek out on the subject?
Guest DeputyHawk Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 Well, Homage To Catalonia was friggin awesome! .................... Go Batman!
