Nash Faints

Karma is a bitch. Nash has had it rough since returning to wrestling after WCW folded. Considering he killed my favorite wrestling company ever with his booking, politicking and bad matches, pardon me if I don't have sympathy when something bad happens to him. I just have a memory, that's all.

Thats selfish.

Because YOU contend he ruined YOUR favorite company, YOU hate him. And YOU think anything that happens to him is deserved. How petty.

But you have to see how ridiculous it is to say that potentially life altering situations are appropiate payback for being a "bad" guy when it came to WRESTLING.

Its like last year when people were saying that if Steve Austin did beat his wife, he was on the same level as Davey Boy Smith(who was accused of rape) and SHAWN MICHEALS(because he held people back)

It is in bad taste if nothing else.

You haven't been here long enough to understand where we're coming from.

The guy has screwed other people over so much in the past that it's comical to watch him in the ring past his prime. His wrestling downfall equates to shits and giggles for most of us.

Karma is a bitch.

Man it sure is a shame Nash died. Wait, he isn't dead, but it is still a shame he is in critical condition. Wait, he isn't that either. Oh he just fainted? How dare you mock this man for the life changing situation of fainting.

Jesus. You guys are cruel. I don't care who he held down. You are talking about someone's life. It transcends wrestling, or anything that has encompassed it.

I think people are too sensitive on this board - I doubt anyone on this board wishes ill-health for Kevin Nash.

Exactly. If Nash died, I wouldn't be acting like this. If it was a serious injury, I wouldn't either. But the guy fainted for no reason. So what?

I just find it petty to wish any sort of injury on someone. If you wish death, than your just pathetic.

Let me remind you, this is a guy who FAKED A HEART ATTACK to get out of a WCW show in 1999.

He's not a saint.

It would have been better if he fainted during the middle of a match on Raw.

Because perfectly healthy people just black out ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

There is the POTENTIAL that something more serious is wrong and anyone getting shits and giggles over shit like that is far worse than anything he ever could've done backstage at any wrestling company.

Oh, and Ingram Paladin - your avatar is a picture of someone whose gimmick is taking the pi$$ out of people who have tourette's - I'd be careful taking the moral highground here.

From the Rick Steiner shoot interview recap:

The drug situation in the WWF at the time- It was mainly pills and GHB. His personal take is that he doesn’t mind steroids because they are a performance enhancer, although he knows they cause health problems. He didn’t get into the whole pill thing, though. One day, Scott Hall took so many that he passed out in his lunch in the middle of a restaurant.

Doesn't prove a thing I know. But it's the first thing that occurred to me when I read this news about Big Queasy.

People do faint all the time. People faint because they're tired, dehydrated, stressed. Fainting does not equate or lead to death or serious injury.

If it makes the situation more of a Hallmark moment, Nash dying is a bad thing because he has a son and the poor kid would have to grow up without a dad. So I don't wish death on him. I don't *wish* anything on him. I just laugh when he has a string of bad luck because his karma is catching up to him.

Were you here for asshole fest when he tore his quad. Let me remind you:

HA HA HA. There is a human being in more pain than I will probably ever know. IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE HE IS SCREAMING IN PAIN!! HAHA HA HA. LOOK AT HIM. HE WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO GO THROUGH MONTHS OF PAINFUL REHAB. HA HA HA HA HA!!

That was basically what the post were.

1. Why are we obligated to have compassion for Kevin Nash?

Because Kevin Nash is a human being who has never done anything more terrible than be a pretty bad wrestler and play politics at his job. To wish him serious health problems because of those factors is classless and ignorant. Its like being happy some guy you don't like at work got colon cancer.

2. How does Benoit falling off of a building equate to Kevin Nash fainting?

It equates only in that making fun of an injury indicates that because you aren't a fan of someone, that they somehow deserve said injury. But as some people might actually be fans of that wrestler, they reverse the situation's perspective and hope that you'll notice that you're being rather fucking silly.

3. Why is it wrong to like Chris Benoit more than Kevin Nash?

It's not wrong to like Chris Benoit's work more than Kevin Nash's. It is wrong to make value judgments on their character based on that. It's like nominating Babe Ruth for sainthood because he could hit a lot of dingers. Fact is, you can't really like either of these people more than the other based on any kind of information other than what you ascribe to them.

4. Why are we expected to be unbiased on a situation that doesn't require any objectivity whatsoever?

Because from wishing injury on a person its only a short hop to being really glad he's dead. Why you would bring bias into this in the first place, I don't know.

See...marvel in the stupidity.

Please share with me how other people in terrible pain is such a funny ordeal. ESPECIALLY in a freak accident when they were trying to entertain you the wrestling fan. But HHH and Bradshaw are assholes for saying fuck the IWC. I would too if they were sitting around laughing at the misfortunes of those who basically kill themselves for your entertainment...and lots of money...

Because it was his first match back since he got injured tearing his bicep.

He runs into the ring, nails Booker T and then falls down. I find that to be funny.

I find that you are a great example of complete dumbness.

Finding Injury funny even with the circumstance truly indictates the shoddy and blotchly mentality that exists inside your mind.

OMG BULL $HIT~!

You're the one who laughed your ass off when he tore his quad.

On a sidenote, I found it hilarious that Jericho used to blow spots frequently because in just about every match he'd get a concussion. Here's to another

Agreed. All this board is is one big shit talking session. Nash fainted, posters talk shit. Business as usual from my vantage point. Doesn't matter who it was, if someone has something happen to them in wrestling, posters here are going to talk shit, from Nash to Benoit. Someone will always pipe in with something.
