I been reading alot of these "flames" over the past few years and I want to help out the problem of crappy flames coming out. Pointless bullshit that goes on for pages because one side doesn't know what the fuck they are doing. It gets boring to reed when someone is getting owned three pages in and another three of cheerleaders vs the guy to try and act all tough.

 

1: If you got a "beef" with someone outside of NHB, take it here. It pointless when infighting kills a thread before it even gets off the ground. Case in point: the many chokeslam threads in Puro folders of "Puro-Snobs" vs "WWE-Fanboys". Atleast don't derail others fun because you seem to "hate" another poster.

 

2: When you want to flame someone, bring every problem out first and lay on the table. Explain why you hate the person(Jungius vs Jubuki). It makes the thread shorter, it gets to the point. Picutes and smlies work if done right(One and Only APO Sucks Thread).

 

3: If you will use picutes to flame someone, do NOT compare them to Hitler, Stalin, or Mao unless they state genicide. It is very LAME, it is retarded. It how much of a (bigger for some) moron you are. And if the mods take away post counts and sigs, so beat it, no sense labeling anyone Hitler for not letting you see how manytimes you posted.

 

4: If the war starts to heat up, please please please do NOT throw out a fight challenge. You can not kick someone's ass over the internet, so don't state you can. You know they won't fly to where you live. You know you won't fly to them to fight them. Its really lame and very childish. Just call them a stupid piece of shit. Its just as childish but you won't look like a fucking lame piece of shit. (Brain to Jingus for an example of this).

 

5: DO NOT use racial or sexual slurs. They are very stupid and show how much of a retard you are. It doesn't make you a badass to call someone a "nigger" or a "cunt". Banning will happen and everyone will just think you have the IQ of a dried up over cooked bean.

 

6: Cheerleaders are not needed. Nothing fills a thread with pages than when X poster personal click of dick suckers comes into a thread and bashes the other guy and saying he was "OWNED~!"

It adds nothing and does nothing but a "+1". Just let the two go at it. If you think it, think it, don't post it. Also, don't jump into the fight because it comes retarded when its One on Six. Exceptions is when people point out how dumb you are for saying something retarded(pick a johnson thread), but others jumping in just to pick a fight (TSM vs Cutthroat) just draws it out.

 

7: Death threats and rape threats are a BIG NO as common sense goes. It is worse than just a simple I am going to kick your ass. You aren't going to kill someone over the internet. You can't stab them over a phone line; you can't shoot them over the cable line. It is just lame and retarded. Utterly fucking retarded to do so. Not only will you be banned, but your ISP should be told of what you do and get your account yanked, you are too dumb to be allowed to use the internet.

 

8: I done this once and found the stupidity in it, but please DO NOT CALL FOR ANYONE'S banning because you and a bunch of others do not like him or her(Eagan, I am looking at YOU). Some posters done this too many times to count. But if you don't like someone, that doesn't justify a ban. Now, if a poster breaks a rule, just PM a mod and let them handle it. We don't need extra mods, we don't need posters screaming for a banning, we just let the right people handle it in a reasonable time. Calling for a banner because some poster can't argue or flame is really dumb. And to add this, asking for someone to be banned for flaming outside the flaming folder is just retarded. Just because they called you a fucking retarded piece of shit for something you said, well oh well. People need to calm out but banning over meaningless words is retarded.

 

9: Old rule but very good and true rule: If you don't have any of value to say, DON"T POST IT. Don't waste your, their's, or other's time with pointless bullshit flaming, or flame-baiting. It is retarded have stupid one line post in thread topic starts just to "piss" someone off. It is wasteful whoring and all you are truely doing is upping your post count. They don't matter, so either come with your A-Game or don't come at all.

 

10: The most important rule of all. This one goes over 1 through 9, if you don't like someone, IGNORE THEM~! The best weapon you have against another person is to ignore them. WHo cares if they call you chicken shit or scaredl. You don't need to be Bone Crusher to prove anything. This is the fucking internet. Just let the shit be. If you really hate someone, then you are already fucked to begin with. They can't hurt you. The worse they can do is hack you and well, that is a crime. And nobody here is that fucking bored that they are going to hack people. So ignore the bullshit and the bullshit will end.

Good list, the one thing that I'd change is in #5 ... besides the fact that I'm a big proponent of the word "cunt", I just don't think that it's a good example of foolish flaming. I think any variation of "faggot" or "homo" are more accurate when referring to pointless sexual slurs.
