Is there any chance of him coming back to Japan where he was appreciated? Where do you think he would go if he ever came back? Personally, I would love to see him back in Japan. He is a great big man and could be big again.  He was big in FMW main eventing. I don't know, just thoughts that are running through my head.

He'll be back in Japan when his WWF contract expires or he gets released.  He's a great big man, but he's not that big in WWF terms (although with the SmackDown roster being what it is, he could be OK there).  I just can't see him being in the WWF very long once he's healthy though.

I'd guess he'd go to the promotion Fuyuki started up after FMW died, the new FMW promotion Onita is supposed to be starting, to All Japan(the only other place he worked besides FMW) or to mayby Zero One.

I'd say Noah but they've allready got a big roster and I can't really see him in New Japan.

I have a small off topic question but I didnt want to start a new thread so I will just put it here. When was TAKA Michinoku's last match in Japan? Thanks.

It wouldn't surprise me if NOAH would want Mike Awesome, because at last report, I've heard that Kawada, Kobashi and now Misawa are all injured. They might want Awesome not only because he's talented, but also out of desperation for main event attractions.

That is what I thought but isn't NOAH an anti American group. I haven't seen too many NOAH tapes so they could have an American bu I originally thought they had no Americans on their roster.

I have no idea why people think NOAH is anti-American. Vader and 2-Cold worked there and NOAH has done inter-promotional stuff with All Pro Wrestling of "Beyond The Mat" fame. NOAH doesn't really have the budget to bring gajins over as there kind of a dead beat promotion. I'd reccomend picking up the few good matches they do have on comp tapes.

Vader, Scorpio, Mike Modest, and Donovan Morgan have all worked for NOAH, so I'd say that they let gaijin in, though not many of them.

Right now, Awesome would be best off either in New Japan or All Japan, as both companies are in a serious talent crunch and could use another known name, plus they could actually pay him.

im a big awesome mark i think the wwf will let him go but i think he'd sign with the wwa or xwf but if he go's back to japan i think he'd sign with all japan. i dont think many people would say noah is a dead beat promotion they have a very good tv deal and there just about to start an fued with new japan so that will probably bring in more money  suwa01.jpg

I think Awesome would still be huge in the WWF.  He just needs a killer push and needs to put a lot of people through tables.

NOAH is not in general an anti-American promotion. Since its inception, some have said that NOAH stood for No Old American Honkeys (or things to that effect). Notice the word "Old", which is perhaps why "old" All Japan American guys like Steve Williams, Stan Hansen and Mike Rotundo are not in NOAH (Vader, who has worked for NOAH, is a possible exception to this rule).

Steve Williams on the Law said that Misawa started up NOAH to get away from the gaijin wrestlers like himself...

Then again, in the same interview he cursed out Misawa for leaving Mrs. Baba but said he would go work for him if the price was right,
