Anything Italian my mom makes is exceptional, which is amazing since we're not Italian

As long as it's not "country style" home cooking, I'm not too picky.

I hate country cooking. Rather have pizza, burgers, grilled chicken or steak...I guess what you would call city cooking.

Personally, my favs:

Mashed potatoes (at least as long as Dad makes'em)

Y-key-key (spelling bites, I know) meatballs

Peanut butter cookies

Pineapple Glazed Chicken

Cabbage Rolls

Lasanga

Pizza

And of course the food I eat the most, hamburgers.

I wish I could duplicate my mom's chicken fried steak. She won't tell me exactly how she makes it, but whatever she does, it's DAMN GOOD.

Man, you can't beat country cooking. That's how cooking should be done.

I also make a lasagne that will have you creaming yourself and I'm not Italian either.

My mom makes this tourtiere (meat pie) that is really good. She also makes some good soups and stews that I could eat everyday.

country fried steak is a horrible hillbilly cooking invention.

It's a cheap peice of steak breaded and covered in gravy.

I can't stand it.

Turkey London Broil with homemade mashed potatos, stove top, and either bbq baked beans or corn on the cob. Nothing better.
