Guest EricMM Posted August 4, 2003 Report Posted August 4, 2003 Which is the preferred medium? I can't decide which to buy? Is there a difference in quality?
Guest bob_barron Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 The DVDs have extra matches and chapter listings. But the quality on the VHS is just fine. The videos are cheaper by $5
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I'd go with the VHS unless you really want it on DVD. Its more economical, and I'm usually not all that interested in the bonus matches.
Guest ChaosTheory Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I always get the VHS- cause they come out about 6 months before the DVDs
Guest Deviant Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I know that they have improved since their first, but Road to the Title and Honor Invades Boston on DVD just suck and have turned me off of ever buying them again. RTTT is the VHS just on a disk, and HIB's chapters are just painful. It's not that hard to start a new chapter at the beginning of each match or segment, is it?
Guest Joe Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I buy the DVDs but mainly because I've sworn off of videos all together...I won't buy movies, wrestling, or anything on video...Heck even the stuff I tape I don't keep, just watch it and then tape over it... DVDs are just so much better with their small size and they even have a better look when on your shelf...yeah, I'm a collector so that type of thing matters to me... But if you're not like me and just want to watch the wrestling, you can get the videos...It's the exact same thing except the DVDs have chapters and extra matches (I don't watch the extra matches cause there's no announcers on them and it's just weird watching a match on TV minus announcers)... Also the videos are more up to date...I think they just released like June's show on Video...On DVD they're only up to December 2002...
Guest JustinCredible2k Posted August 9, 2003 Report Posted August 9, 2003 Videos is probly your best bet if you want the newest out there. But DVD has better quality. Either way, you'll get your moneys worth.
