Bored Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I'm already calling how the Elimination Chamber will shake out...early in the match HHH re-injures his groin and gets taken out of the match so he doesn't have to actually lose to drop the title. Likely it comes down to Goldberg and Jericho, with Goldberg winning of course. Then HHH can sit out for a bit and wait for Goldberg to flame out as champ pretty quick and then win back the title. ITS GENIUS I TELLS YA!
Guest tpww7 Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 If Randy Orton wins the belt, I'm boycotting Raw for at least a year...
Guest JRE Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 And...genius for the good. That one announcement took out the fear I had of watching Nash/Jericho AND Goldberg/HHH. Now they've masked any suckiness with a gimmick. Nice.
Guest Choken One Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 You can tell HHH and Vince JUST came up with this match...i.e plan b. They used the Reaction goldberg got as a Gauge...
Bored Posted August 5, 2003 Author Report Posted August 5, 2003 Actually at first I thought he was gonna announce a lame ass six-man tag match for SummerSlam. Orton won't win so I wouldn't worry about that. The only good thing about all of this is that it at least means we won't have to see Jericho/Nash in singles.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 He is so totally not a genius, he's just not nearly as stupid as the McMahons or most other wrestlers. I say HHH gets eliminated by Nash and Goldberg has to get his "big" win by pinning Orton. Hah.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 You have to love it. Last time they did this the ONLY person to use the stupid gimmick at all was RVD. Every single person in the match (except...you know...HHH who couldn't talk at the time) put over on WWE TV how RVD was the person who used the gimmick best. And he's not in there...but I'm sure Nash will do equally well. Anyway...HHH will open his door last so he doesn't have to die in there.
Guest NoCalMike Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Bored, I love the sig, brotha.....
Bored Posted August 5, 2003 Author Report Posted August 5, 2003 Actually I am probably too quick to assume HHH gets out of the match without ever being pinned as he'd probably let HBK or Nash pin him. Then they'll all have three-way gay sex after the show.
Guest rawmvp Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Yes! This does two things: Increases the likelihood that Booker T and/or RVD will have a match at SSLAM And it opens the door for the WARGAMES~! at the SURVIVOR SERIES!!!!
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 RVD is going to face Kane.
Guest razazteca Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Randy Orton will kill 4 legends in that match
Guest AndrewTS Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I expected Austin to announce War Games. Glad they didn't hotshot it, but it's pretty funny that the one-on-one match isn't happening.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 The story for this match is... can Jericho carry all these people?????? I guess they'll start off with either Jericho and HBK or Orton and HBK since the other three people (HHH, Nash and Goldberg) are physically incapable of starting the match off. Either way the first three people will be Jericho, HBK and Orton.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 well at least they realized the failure that would be Goldberg v. HHH for the writing, its a start
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 They only realized that when HHH got injured.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 can Jericho carry all these people?????? No, the real question is can Nash, HHH, Goldberg, HBK and Orton escape this match without getting themselves seriously injured? Who will survive, and what will be left of them?
Guest PhantMan Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I just pray vince goes for the upset gimmick and gives the belt to orton. it's the only way randy is gonna win the belt.
Guest Choken One Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 HBK has been injury free since his return. WWE should be smart and Make it HBK/Jericho all night with Marginal Brawling with the dead 4.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Orton is gonna win, isn't he? HHH wants to turn face. Orton wins, Evolution split, HHH vs. Orton for the World Title. Oh shit.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Yeah, I was going to leave HBK off the list, but I figured he's overdue. It's amazing that the guy who's out for years with a bad back, was never going to wrestle again, now seems to be much less fragile than HHH or Nash.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I think Goldberg is still going to pin HHH at the end. This is just being done because 1: HHH can't physically work a match 2: Micheals/Orton and Jericho/Nash would have blown and wasted alot of ppv time.
Guest Choken One Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 I still think this match was created along with HHH's injury to prevent HHH from Jobbing to Goldy. Nash will job to HHH...HHH job to Shawn...Shawn jobs to Jericho...Jericho jobs to Goldberg...Goldberg jobs to Orton.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 This match is great it extends all storylines (like Orton/HBK and Y2J/Nash) for another month
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Orton will beat HBK to win the title. *runs and hides*
Guest ILiveUnderABridge Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 HHH is dumb yo cause he's just gonna look like a fool in the end of all this. I will shit if Randy wins though.
LaParkaYourCar Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 This match is great it extends all storylines (like Orton/HBK and Y2J/Nash) for another month So they can be blown off at Unforgiven instead of the Second Biggest WWE ppv of the year?
Guest BionicRedneck Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Oh BOY! We get Jericho vs. Nash for another month? Lucky us...
Guest ILiveUnderABridge Posted August 5, 2003 Report Posted August 5, 2003 Oh BOY! We get Jericho vs. Nash for another month? Lucky us... it could be worse yo
