Sorry I didn't type out the name, but you get the point.

eiker_ir named my favorite in another thread, so I figured in the spirit of things I give this poll a shot. But I'll explain my favorite after a few others have named theirs.

Somebody else can do the Nightmares. :P

I'm a mark for Part VI.

I really dug how the main character was so obsessed with taking down Jason.

The dialogue was snappier and the movie was better than all the rest.

DIG IT!

my fave is Part 7, The New Blood

I just love Jason too much in this movie not to be my favorite, the badass look, all the tools he uses to kill the teens, everything.

Part two. I preferred Jason as an evil Boo Radley. I hated when he became a damn zombie.

I "enjoy" all of them. I am a mark for part 3. Shelly, the stoner dudes, the biker gang, and who can forget the main title theme. Also I think originally it was in 3-D. This one had it all and it was the first time Jason used the mask.

Honorable mention to parts IV & VII

Part 9. I've only seen a few Ft13s, but 9 was the cheesiest and funniest.

III. It's got a lot of things going for it. If you stop it right there, it technically could happen. The debut of the mask. Shelly (who somehow manages to be the world's biggest idiot and a cool motherfucker at the same time). 3-D, even though you can't watch it like that anymore. Yeah, III is my fav.

VIII is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It seriously makes my brain bleed trying to follow the logic. My sister and I first saw it years ago around Halloween and cracked up all the way through it. It has a soft spot in my heart.

Jason Takes Manhattan is the worst of the series imo, not counting Jason Goes To Hell because that's a really different and weird movie in it's own.

Plus 'Jason takes Manhattan' and he's only in New York for like 10 minutes at the end, sWeRvE~!

I like part 6 the best. Although everyone else I know craps on it.

Their all great to me, but I vote for part six.

That's more like it.

9 was the worst...you got jobbed on Jason way too long in that one. Sure he's in the beginning, but it's way too long till you see him again.

I like the one where Jason has to battle the psychokinetic blonde chick. I think that's 6 or 7.

I think 5 would not have been so bad if the series would have ended there. The storyline is actually believable. Some guy pissed at his kid's death so he dresses up as Jason and use the local folklore to get revenge on the summer camp youth league that led to his son's death. This was also the last F13th before Jason became officially zombified.

Friday the 13th part VII: The New Blood. That one is good. Bernie from "Weekend at Bernie's" plays the quack.

That's Terry Kiser. Very underrated actor. Has made tons of guest spots on t.v. shows. His performance in the Friday the 13th movie was actually subpar for him.

Of course, the original was great on its own. I watched the sequels before I watched the first one so when I did finally see it for the first time I didn't have a clue it was

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

His mom the entire time

Part II was okay. I didn't really have much love for Jason "Pillowsack" Voorhes.

Part III was blah. Favorite part though was when that dude got macheted in the crotch. >_<

Never saw Part IV, heard it sucked.

Part V was gay although the biker getting decapitated while riding his bike got a "DAMN..." out of me.

Part VI definitely is my favorite. It was the last time you ever saw scrawny Jason. The way he was brought back was gay, but the ending was tight.

Part VII was good. Rumor has it this is where the original Freddy Vs. Jason clash was gonna take place, but due to creative / legal differences, Freddy got replaced by a psychic girl with the whole plot changed.

Jason Takes A Boat was almost as bad as Part V.

And of course, Jason Goes To Hell is my 2nd favorite. I marked out when Jason brought out the metal hockey mask. It just threw me off out of nowhere, Jason suddenly had

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

a sister that he ends up killing

with the whole Voorhes family tie-in to "end it once and for all" angle added.

Jason X, it was funny, but I'll pretend it never happened. It was great seeing Jason kick some ass though.

Am I the only one who likes Jason Takes Manhattan?

Part III is also kinda cool, first mask appearance anyway.

Or get his ass kicked...

Agreed.

Friday The 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter...

Corey Feldman and Crispin Glover~!

"Hey Eddie... where's the Corkscrew? GAHHHHHHHHH!"

I liked FT13th Part VIII for one reason...

Julius: "Take your best shot."

Well, until he encountered that android chick anyway. After all, he did

kill off that bunch of "military commandos"
without any problems.

My favorite moment in Jason X was when Jason

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

grabbed that one commando guy from behind, dragged him away into that isolated area and broke his neck! I marked out. I was like "Holy shit! He busted a Solid Snake!

I still prefer "Pillowsack" Jason. Screw the hockey mask. The original and the first sequel had really tight continuity. Plus, the self-made shack was really cool.

I actually liked part IV. Jason's death scene alone makes it worth watching (if you're a fan of the series).

X pissed me off. I listened to a little bit of the director's commentary and he was soooo proud of himself for having comedy in the movie...but it sucked balls.

I don't mind comedy, but they went for bad laughs when it should have been a scarey moment of the movie. Just hurt the movie too much.

Anyone heard the info that just about every F13th was edited even in it's R release, and that fans are pushing hard to get each film UNCUT for the box set, when it finally comes out. This does not include Jason Goes to Hell or Jason X, although I have seen the uncut version of Jason goes to Hell, and it is gorier in a couple of key scenes.

the DVD of JGTH has the Unrated version of the movie which is gorier and a couple minutes longer i beleive

i liked Jason X for what it was, just a movie to please the fans of the Friday movies, just show Jason killing teens and tons of them. Plus the Virtual Crystal Lake scene was great

'' we looooooooooove pre-marital sex''

second later Jason is smashing them against a tree. This is a homage to part 7
