Best kicks

Recommended Posts

Guest godthedog

ok, similar topic: who has/had the best kicks?

i think almost everybody will answer tajirir, but for me there's no question: toshiaki kawada's kicks rule the world.  kawada doesn't have to slap his leg to make his kicks seem more effective, cause as it is they look like they could kill somebody.  to me, seeing kawada's kicks is like scott keith seeing ric flair hit people in the nuts: i could watch it all day.  he's got at least a half-dozen different kinds of kicks, all of which look pretty amazing (especially when he flips over).

I like Kawada's-Irish Whip and do a reverse hook kick-kick best:).

He absolutely KILLED Misawa with it during their '93 Carny match...dig it on slow-mo:).

Well, do you say "best" just because of how it looked?  Because then guys who kick you as hard as they can with no protection, like Kawada, Hashimoto, Low-Ki, and so on of course qualify.  But wrestling is a work, and it's not about who can kick the other harder.  For worked kicks, I'd say that Tajiri's always look pretty damn good, and he doesn't kill people with them either.

Well...

...I don't watch Japanese wrestling.  I couldn't even if I wanted to.

So as a poor neglected Canadian wrestling fan, I'll say Tajiri.

Heh...and that guy saying X-pac actually made me laugh out loud for some reason.
