Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted August 5, 2003 Credit: Dave Scherer Last night's edition of Raw drew a 4.0 cable rating according to Nielsen Media Research, down from last week's 4.2. The show did hours of 3.7 and 4.3. The highest rated segment of the show was the overrun, which did a 5.1 quarter hour.
Only The Strong Survive 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2003 overrun = Shane getting beat up by Kane and Bischoff stealing a victory... So Kane is grabbing some pretty solid ratings...
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted August 5, 2003 Nah, overruns always are the highest rated, because of people turning on for the start of the next show. I wonder how the RVD/Jericho match quarter hour did because that was the best thing of the night, easily.
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted August 5, 2003 RVD and Jericho will have been lucky to keep whatever audience was still there. They were put in a quarter that traditionally loses viewers.

I wonder how the RVD/Jericho match quarter hour did because that was the best thing of the night, easily. So Slamball gets a 5.2 opening quarter rating? Overruns do well because people just want to see what happens at the end of the show or because they heard about the main event, don't care about the rest, and just turn the channel at the end. syxx2001 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2003 Or it could be because they were watching something entertaining and put it on at the end to see whats happening, since good things usually happen at the end and during the over run. And Im sure regular TNN viewers know that on Monday nights, shows dont start at exactly 10.
Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted August 6, 2003 Im wrong probably, but I doubt HHH's over-runs have scored 5.0+'s on a weekly basis when he was on RAW every 10 minutes.
Guest Korgath Report post Posted August 6, 2003 My Smark-Sense tells me that they're STILL going to screw this up. They took a gamble with Kane unmasking, won and are raking in the rewards. THEN WHAT?

THEN WHAT? He'll be World Champion here soon. That's the only place left to go if they keep this push up. Or Triple H does the deed of squashing him. I'll take choice two.
