I went with Blimpie's. Although the other places have better overall selections, I absolutely love the Blimpie Best. My favorite sandwich of all the commercial sandwich shops.

Subway, though it wins by default since it's the only chain I've tried. It's awfully convenient when there's been one within a few blocks of me for years.

There's a few Quizno's within a short bus ride downtown, but I've never bothered. And I don't even know where the nearest Blimpie's is... certainly nowhere within reasonable distance of me.

I love Subway's chicken salad. Blimpie is some good shit, too, but the nearest one is about 40 minutes away. I don't think we have Quizno's around here.

Easy - Schlotsky's Deli.

Goddamn, it's good. I get their "regular" sandwich - ham, two kinds of salami, with three kinds of cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and BLACK OLIVES~! on a toasted sourdough bun.

Mouth-watering good. The olives give it a great kick!

We used to have several Schlotsky's around town (Sacramento) but unfortunately they have all shut down. Their regular was damn good and the bread is to die for.

We just had a Quizno's open up here a few months ago and it will be the place I go to when I die. They're black angus steak and varios chicken subs, right now they have the Tuscan chicken as a special, are mucho awesome. A W.G. Grinders opened up recently too, but I've only been there once.

When I live in Pittsburgh there was a place on the Pitt campus called the Atwood Deli, but I called it the Angry Italian, because it was run by this old angry Italian guy. I loved that joint. My favorites were the Westport tuna melt, the cold meatloaf and the classic italian.

I usually go to Subway, but there's a deli in Gainesville called McAlister's Deli, and...wow. Awesome sandwiches.

Quizno's is expensive but the sandwiches are damn good. The honey mustard chicken with bacon is one of the best sandwiches they have.

I also like the steak and cheese sandwiches from tubby's and subway.

I wish we had them down here, but it's kind of cool when I go up to MA once a year to hit up a D'Angelo's for a BLT.

IF we had a Quiznos here Id say that since Ive heard good things about the place. As it is all we have are a couple of Subways so thats the forced answer for me.

Personally If I want a sub I just go to the grocery store and get bread/meat/cheese/veg and make subs. 1 trip can usually get enough for 6 subs cheaper than the cost of 3 from Subway.

I like Quizno's, but the prices are so much better at Subway. Plus, I think Subway is much healthier.

Here's one for the local Washington D.C. area folks - Jerry's Subs N' Pizza.

Good subs, cheap pizza (the large is only like 6.99). Good stuff!
