What is WWE going to do at Survivor Series?

I thought the Elimination Chamber would become an exclusive gimmick for the annual Survivor Series PPV. Now that this match is being booked for this year's SummerSlam, how does this affect the Survivor Series show? Will Vince opt to use the Chamber again after just 3 months? Will he bring WAR GAMES back? Will we see a brand new gimmick? Will the 4 on 4 Survivor Series elimination bouts make a triumpant return?

 

What do you guys think?

 

Personally, I'd love to see HHH, Flair, Orton, Y2J, Kane vs. RVD, HBK, Booker T, Mick Foley, Shane in a WarGames or Hell in a Cell match.

or they will just have it be an standard PPV like Mania and Slam(minus the Chamber)

Don't break their hopes. Of course, "War Games" is mentioned around here on average of ten times a week, and every time there's a PPV coming up. Vince's treatment of WCW-related products/wrestlers/gimmicks is well known around here, so why would there even be speculation that he'd actually USE it?

Yeah expect standard matches but definitely 1 or 2 Survivor Series matches from each brand since they have half the spots for each brand of talent. This way they can fit as many people as they can in on the show.

I think there needs to be a main title match from each brand, and then the rest will be Raw vs. SMDN survivor matches. The concept of the survivor match won't sell on its own anymore I don't think.

Way too early to be giving away RAW vs. Smackdown matches. They've just gotten over the concept of seperation. It should be saved as a selling point of Wrestlemania XXI or something...

I liked the idea of doing the EC as an annual thing for Survivor Series. In fact, I would have loved to see one this year for Smackdown, instead of RAW.

 

Brock vs. Angle vs. Benoit vs. John Cena vs. Undertaker vs. Eddie Guerrero

 

But, I hope they bring back the traditional tag matches. Those always made Survivor Series one of my favorite PPVs years ago.

So, if Austin/Bischoff picks Goldberg or Kane, and Steph picks either Angle or Lesnar, the resukts would be like this:

 

RAW wins, and Kane gets the #30 Entrance, and Angle has to go in as #1.

 

If SD! wins, reverse it.

Yeah, but a majority of the show in 1999 had the multi-man tag matches.

 

2000 had two, and 2001 had one, I believe.

Yeah 2001. I dont see how that doesnt count. It was a traditional 5 on 5 elimination match, even more old school in the fact that it was the main event.

I phrased my question wrong.... I basically just wanted to know the last Survivor Series PPV where they did the traditional matches...

 

and wasn't the InVasion match 5 on 5?

 

EDIT: Just ignore me... I am all confused.... I am thinking of something else..... don't worry.... I'll be all better after a little more sleep.

 

I am getting that confused with the other 10 man match they did with the invasion angle.

I could see Vince use WarGames only if the following scenario transpires:
