Guest MissMattitude Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I just brought 'The Young Ones: Every Stoopid Episode' on DVD and had forgotten quite how funny they all were. I love the show so much I have incorporated a part of it into my sig. There's also one episode of 'Bottom' and one episode of 'Filthy, Rich and Catflap' on the DVD.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I knew I shouldn't have clicked in here. Now I have to buy the DVD.
Guest MissMattitude Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I knew I shouldn't have clicked in here. Now I have to buy the DVD. Yes you do... it's an essential purchase
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 And I just spent £25 on Father Ted DVDs as well...damn you comedy!
Guest MissMattitude Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I want to get some 'Father Ted' on DVD, and I think you can get 'Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em' now aswell... ooooh and 'Steptoe And Son'.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 What you really need are "Allo Allo" DVDs.
Guest nl5xsk1 Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I actually started a thread a few weeks ago about if the Young Ones were worth picking up. I remember loving them when I was a kid but haven't seen an episode in like 15 years, so was wondering if the humor was still there. I was astounded at the response, of how many people were into them and said to get the DVD or the cheap used VHS. I haven't bought them yet, but will soon enough.
Guest MissMattitude Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 The humour is absolutely still there, trust me. You should get the DVD. One thing that makes me laugh is that you can only get it from amazon.com and not amazon.co.uk even though it's a British production. So if you wan't the whole lot I believe you can only get it on Region 1.
