Guest HBK16 Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Im a toilet reader as some might say and I get tired of the same old shit. My dad gave me this book. Its Uncle John's Bathroom Reader. Theres like 10 or 15 other volumes. Its a pretty big book and its full of facts and diferent kind of things that would keep you entertained in the bathroom for hours. Like the history of football and the Chocolate hall of fame, stupid criminals. Theres not enough time to even say everything thats inthe book. And at the bottom of every page it has a little fact on the bottom. Like whales dream. I have been up all night and took more than recommended on my RX medicine so my brain isnt fully cooperating with me right now. I just find this book so amazing. You gotta check it out.
Guest Choken One Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I own THREE! Different Volumes of this book...Nothing better to take a shit too...
Guest HBK16 Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Ha. Good man. Im glad I have someone to back me up. These are awesome books.
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 My legs have fallen asleep MANY times due to Uncle John
Guest The Old Me Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Sounds good. Better than a newspaper.
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 Yep, I have one of them.......they are pretty interesting.......must get more.
Guest The Old Me Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 One that I used to have was "life's little frustration book", a parody of "life's little instruction booklet." It contains things like "why do I always get the shopping cart with one bad wheel." Pretty funny.
Guest Ace309 Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I love the bathroom reader series. Also good for the "home library:" The Dilbert business philosophy books (The Dilbert Principle, The Dilbert Future and The Joy of Work).
Guest BDC Posted August 6, 2003 Report Posted August 6, 2003 I have a stack of the things. They're great, 'cept I read them all multiple times. *sigh*
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted August 7, 2003 Report Posted August 7, 2003 My dad owns a gazillion of the things, and I like 'em a lot myself. But I don't think I've ever actually read them while on the shitter. I perfer to just grab one as I'm going to bed or about to lay on the couch for an hour or so and read 'em for a bit.
