This EP has four tracks plus a bonus. The first three songs are off the album "War On Errorism". I found this at A&BSound for $10.00 Cnd, so it's like .50 cents in the States.

Right off the bat the cover art caught my attention with it's depiction of zombie like people. On the inside is a few paragraphs long statement that sets the tone for this EP. It's a very political statement. Since the cover art did it's job by catching my interest I'd give it 3/5.

The First track is "Medio-core", This song is about how music today is all the same, "Sing...Make it simple...so all the kids can sing along" It's not really a song that you're going to be blasting at a party but it paints a clear and in my mind accurate picture of today's music scene. 3/5

The second track is, "The Idiot's Are Taking Over", This is very political stuff for any band much less a band like NOFX who are more famous for their sense of humor. Like most NOFX songs it's fast paced with a good tempo. However the song's political nature is a little overbearing at times and will seem a little too preachy to most people. 2.5/5

The Third Track is "Franco Unamerican" I love this song. It's catchy enough that I've caught myself singing it aloud a number of times. It also makes a strong political statement like the other tracks but does so without beating the statement into the ground. This track more than the others shows NOFX's trademark sense of humor. 4.5/5

The Fourth track is "Hardcore 84", and is NOT on the "War On Errorism" album. Loud, fast paced, and angry this track will serve to appease any hardcore punk fan that doesn't care about politics. 3/5

The Bonus Track is just some clips of songs with the band goofing around a bit. 2/5

18/30 for the album. I'd recommend this only for hardcore NOFX fans and those who like music to be political.

Final Thought: I recently read an article in "Guitar World" where Fat Mike of NOFX talks about how Punk bands today don't have the courage to piss people off and make a statement. It's readily apparent however that NOFX is willing to piss off anyone.

Okay, that's the first time I ever reviewed anything. It probably sucked. Let me know. If it was okay I might review a CD I have that's a NOFX/Rancid split with the bands covering each others songs.

Yep. Sucked. Way too brief, and didn't describe the music at all, just what the lyrics are about. I have no idea what this cd sounds like (well, I do, but you get my point..) after reading that, aside from being politically oriented punk..punk like Dead Kennedys? The Ramones? Totally different? what?
