Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted August 7, 2003 # Diamond" Dallas Page will be the special guest on tomorrow's edition of WWE.com's Byte This! # Edge has updated his weekly column on WWE.com, which can be reached directly by clicking here. # The 8/2 edition of Velocity scored a 0.8 cable rating. # The 8/2 edition of Confidential scored a 0.7 cable rating. # The 8/3 edition of Sunday Night Heat scored a 1.0 cable rating. (Thanks to 1wrestling.com) # Booker T will be seeing a doctor this week to determine the cause of his back injury. He has been working through the injury since his days with WCW and as far as I know, it's a lower back problem, not an upper back/spine injury. # Kevin Nash will be seeing a neurologist this week to figure out why he fainted during an autograph signing in Australia. There has been talk that it may be due to a pinched nerve in his back or it could be due to the long trip. There most likely won't be a quick prognosis because several tests will have to be done, but since he was feeling better at RAW, the decision was made to book him on upcoming shows. # Christopher Nowinski has been sidelined for several weeks due to post-concussion syndrome. He is still under the observation of his doctors, and will not return to action until he is medically cleared. # For those who saw referee Charles Robinson make the X call (the signal to let those in the back know that a legit injury has occurred) at the end of the Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Rene Dupree match, it was because Dupree was busted open the hard way from a shot with the flag pole at the conclusion of the match. He is said to be doing OK now and shouldn't miss any ring time as a result. (Thanks to 1wrestling.com) Thanks to "Tampa Bay Jay" for the following report: The Big Show called into the Bubba The Love Sponge radio this morning and covered some WWE related topics. Bubba asked about Bill Goldberg and the main event change for SummerSlam. Show said "Bill Goldberg IS money." And he left it alone after that. He asked about Hulk Hogan's departure from WWE and Show replied he was sorry to see him go. He said he has so much knowledge to share with younger guys. On his recent feud with Brock Lesnar he said that Lesnar is the strongest man he has been in the ring with bar none. He loves wrestling him. He then mentioned how he is waiting on a flight connection and standing in line like an idiot. He started heeling out saying, "Don't these people know I'm 7 feet tall and 500 lbs?!" Funny stuff. He also said he will be attending the Tampa Bay Devil Rays game on Thursday night against the Kansas City Royals. Bubba asked if he would throw out the first pitch but Show said he didn't wanna embarrass himself. Quick call and I'm not sure it went out over the network feed. I think it was just heard locally here on 98Rock. Of all the wrestler regulars who call into Bubba, Show is by far and away the most charismatic and genuine.
