Guest The Shockmaster! Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 Since the NWO is being brought in to "destroy the WWF" and the best way to do that is to control the world title, I'm assuming storyline will dictate that sooner or later the NWO will get their hands on the World title. The question is who will be the champ?
Guest Judas14 Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 Since the NWO is being brought in to "destroy the WWF" and the best way to do that is to control the world title, I'm assuming storyline will dictate that sooner or later the NWO will get their hands on the World title. The question is who will be the champ? Hogan, if not for the inevitable "Rock/Austin/HHH versus Hogan for the title in a match between 1980s WWF versus late 1990s Attitude era WWF greats"
Guest Tony149 Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 If an nWo member gets the WWF Title, Hogan will be first. Nash would be second choice.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 Hogan. He's the draw, obviously. He's the big name. You wanna establish the group, give him the belt. Just play the angle out the way WCW did...except this angle should have a blow-off and should put over some of the younger talent. Nash is a cancer, period and Hall will always be a glorified mid carder.
Guest Tony149 Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 To add to what I posted eariler...Hogan will probably be the next in line to get the WWF Title after HHH. The nWo tries to get the WWF Champ HHH (HHH is Champ by then) to join the nWo, HHH says no, nWo beats HHH up. Setting up HHH/Hogan at say Judgment Day or KOTR, Hogan wins. And either SCSA or The Rock will get the WWF Title back from Hogan.
Guest Army Eye Posted February 8, 2002 Report Posted February 8, 2002 Gotta be Hogan. You have to admit 'Hollywood' was quite the effective world champ for WCW 96-97. The quality of the matches was poor, but the crowds were always hot for them and the PPVs did big business. Workrate isn't everything.
Guest netslob Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 Workrate isn't everything the very words that Vince McMahon says to himself everyday.
