Guest Report post Posted April 1, 2002 Okay, when I say Favorite it doesn't have to be your favorite Wrestler ever. Like with me, my all time favorite is Bret Hart but my favorite Character has to be the "Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman. I loved when he started getting crazy in WcW and I ABSOLUTELY loved his work in ECW. His WWF stuff was great in the beginning but he kind of tamed down a little towards the end. Who was your guys? Guest Report post Posted April 1, 2002 The FIVE-TIME WCW Champion, the Bookerman. Since his charecter is a stereotypical black, how about instead of "Who?" his catchphrase was "Wizzhat?"

Guest Report post Posted April 1, 2002 The thing with all those old gimmicks was everything was totally overexaggerated. Everybody had some certain trait about them, that made them different, whether it was a parttime job (race car driver, dentist, tax man) or just something that makes them different (the Narcissist, Million Dollar Man, Mr. Perfect, etc..) Nowadays, its tough to tell the difference between different people gimmicks, they more or less play normal people. You know what I mean? Kurt Angle is probably the closest thing to a throwback to those old gimmicks. As far as my favorites, definitely the Million Dollar Man.. and.. Mantaur! Guest Report post Posted April 2, 2002 D-Lo Brown was a subtly funny European champion. I used to crack up whenever theyt would announce that he was from a different city everytime he entered the ring, and his chest protector gimmick was hysterical. The Rock as the leader of the Nation of Domination and then the Corportation was just priceless. Owen Hart always made me laugh as well.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted April 2, 2002 Raven XPW's "White Trash" Johnny Webb and The Messiah (now in CZW) also make me proud to be a wrestling fan, because one's hilarious (Webb) and one's offensive as all hell to Christians (Messiah). Whoa...Rob Black did something GOOD?!

Guest Special K Report post Posted April 2, 2002 Austin in ECW/WWF Raven in ECW, somewhat in WCW Angle Pillman Muta Mick Foley (all personas) And I it won't be a popular one, but I always got a kick out of 'Ravishing' Rick Rude
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 2, 2002 And I it won't be a popular one, but I always got a kick out of 'Ravishing' Rick Rude Actually, I'm sure a lot of people like him too. He was one of the first to really do the "sexiest man in wrestling" gimmick the right way, plus he was one of the first wrestlers to do in-ring promos before his matches. I'd pick him over Jason from ECW or Val Venis any day of the week.
