A&e moves law and order

Recommended Posts

Starting this week, A&E will be moving longtime favorite Law and Order to 12PM/6PM in order to clear the 1PM/7PM timeslot for daylate reruns of "The View". The nightcap episodes of L&O are at the present time unaffected and will still run at 11PM/3AM at night....

i remain unaffected by this, since i'm at class during 12-1 AND 1-2 everyday (even though i'm a big law & order fan).

i just don't see 'the view' finding a home at a & e.  seems more like an oxygen show to me.

It's the newest trend: talk shows getting syndicated into Cable. The Law and Order spin-offs started the trend and Last Call getting syndicated on E! and getting big ratings has shown that talk shows can be syndicated as well, leading to The View and Late Night With Conan O'Brian to start syndicating their shows onto Cable.

The View has an audience and it seems A&E is hoping to have it put into their schedule so that when L&O goes bye-bye this fall, The View will make sure they maintain their ratings in that timeslot....

Fuck that shit.  NewsRadio had the 6:30 PM slot.  What's going to happen to NewsRadio?  I'll be very pissed if I can't get my NewsRadio fix ::angry face::

Well just wait, A&E is eventually losing the rights to the early Law & Order seasons to TNT which has the rights to the recent seasons.
