Do you think tag teams consisting of Main Eventers are a good thing or a bad thing for the product? The reason I ask is because, for some reason, I want Angle to team up with Austin and make a ME heel team. Both could be the funny dork heels, but when they get in the ring they're all intense. If they're not booked to be unbeatable, I think they could work..... Guest muzanisa Report post Posted April 1, 2002 I loved the Megapowers and the Rock and Sock connection. All the others didn't work and I think that they harm the proper tag teams. I'd love an angle where they hyped a couple of M/E wrestlers form a tag team, and then jobbed them to Kaientai with the annouchers explaining that Kaientai could beat them because they wrestled as a tag team all the time while the top guys wern't used to teaming. I hate it when two guys get together and just roll over the tag teams. I also think that no wrestler should win a handicap match against a tag team unless it's a "mistimed" chair shot ending or some such. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

E&C could easily be the most over team once they unite, and if they feud with two Main Eventers like Angle and Austin, and eventually go over them, it could be even better for them, and Angle or Austin wouldn't lose their heat, since it would be a tag team match..... If they did Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin, and had them get the tag titles, it wouldn't work. The problem with Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin was the reason they got together, and they were unbeatable, except for Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit.
