Butters on south park

I kinda stopped watching South Park so I don't know how Kenny dissapeared. I figure he just died for his last time or something.  Anyways, I think that they could have come up with somebody a little better to hang out with the gang than Butters. He is alright, but he says stupid stuff. Like if anybody watched the Cow episode and his line about making your calfs stronger. He has his good moments though like the balls on his chin. What do you guys think about him and someone please explain how Kenny fianlly left. Thanks.

The only reason I think Kenny left (i have not seen it yet) is that the creators had no more funny ideas of a way for Kenny to die.

Kenny died in the episode Kenny Dies, when he succumbed to some kind of degenerative condition.  The boys had been trying to get Stem Cell Research legalized in an effort to save him, because they might be able to replace whatever was wrong with Kenny, but they couldn't get it done in time and, besides that, Cartman used all the stem cells they collected to make a new Shakey's Pizza.

 

As for Butters, he the best choice because you can't have someone like Timmy, Tweek, or Token as a major character because they're too one-dimensional.

I like Butters...i don't see a thing wrong with him. I think Kenny's time had passed and i'm glad that they decided to replace him. The whole creative death omg they killed kenny skit had gotten stale a season or two ago and just turned into a parody of itself.

 

Butter's has been good i don't see the problem. He's been great as the gullible kid that will do whatever his friends say even if he knows he will get in trouble.

I don't see how you can compare replacing Kenny to replacing Stan Kyle or Cartman.

 

Sure Kenny was one of the original four but compared to the other 3 he was never a main part of the show. Sure he had good episodes and some good jokes done with him and his deaths were one the things that got the show attention. But he is still less important then the other three and was easily replacable, even more so now.

The only funny thing Kenny ever did was when he fed his dad abortion pills and he threw up and crapped at the same time while clutching his balls. Crude, but very funny.

 

Butters is perfect. He is a great foil for Cartman, but stupid enough to play off of Kyle and Stan.

They still could have kept kenny. I thought it was getting old to keep killing him, but i think they could have him live in every episode from then on instead.
