Global Warming 2002 DVD

Recommended Posts

I was checking out the Global Warming 2002 DVD in a store and the card looked to be pretty good, so I was wondering if anyone had seen it or if there's a review of it anywhere. Did the matches deliver, and what were the extras?

Thanks.

I have it...

I don't remember watching it but the extras are:

Tour recap (IE: Waste of space)

The Aftermath (IE: Waste of space)

The Rock after the triple threat match

3 matches from Sydney Australia march 6, 1986...(and they are a workrate fans DREAM card!)

Rougeaus vs. Moondogs

Don Muraco and Mr. Fuji vs. S.D. Jones and King Tonga

Andre vs. Big John Studd

4 of the matches on the show look like they should be real good...

IIRC they cut the Angle vs. Test match that was actually on the show from the DVD for reasons unkown. Probably Anglesault got a hold of someone.

I have it.

Storm/Christian vs. Rey/Kidman proves why the Canadians made for great champions.

Edge/Jericho is pretty darn good, also.

Brock/HHH/Rock is a fun main event, with a funny "post-show aftermath" (an extra on the DVD), but it's slowed down considerably when you take HHH's injuries and Brock's inexperience into account.

EDIT: Noble/Hurricane is your typical Noble match, but mostly forgettable here.

EXTRAS:

Tour Recap

--Angle, Christian and Storm at the zoo

--Kidman, Torrie and Cole shopping

--Noble and Nidia surfing.

The Aftermath (involving Lesnar, HHH, Rock and Paul Heyman)

The Rock after the Triple Threat Match.

Matches from Sydney, Australia (March 6th, 1986)

--The Rougeaus v. The Moondogs.

--Don Muraco & Mr. Fuji v. S.D. Jones and King Tonga (Haku/Meng).

--Andre v. Big John Studd.

I'd put a good recommendation on the DVD.

I think Brock kicks out of the pedigree too.

Yes, you would be correct.

HHH (playing a tweener in this match) jobs cleanly to a Rock Bottom.
