Doom vs The Horsemen- Starrcade 90

I just got a bunch of stuff today and I'm watching the Streetfight between Doom and The Horsemen from Starrcade 90, and looking at the style I got the feeling that it was the nucleus for the Cactus/Payne/Sullivan vs Nasty Boys streetfights that were awesome on back to back PPV.

 

Anyone else see it. Any matches you watch that you find are precursors to later, more famous matches?

I actually want to see that match. I heard that, and the Flair/Arn vs Doom match that led to it, are awesome.

It's been years since I've seen either but I do remember them being quality.

 

Not sure if you guys know this or not but Flair was supposed to be Arn's partner for the Starrcade 90 match but he was "injured", and replaced with Windham, only to show up under the mask of the Black Scorpion in the main event.
