Guest Ripper Report post Posted April 2, 2002 Anglesault, dude, never move to a city with anytype of advancement. Do you realize that there are alot of guys in to the grunge thin that are wearing skirts and pigtails that will beat the ever living shiot out of you? Hell, I remeber Droz wearing pigtails and NOONE said anything about him being gay. The HeadBangers wore skirts and pointy bras to the ring and NOT ONE person said they were gay. DOUBLE FREAKIN STANDARD.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 2, 2002 Anglesault, dude, never move to a city with anytype of advancement Is New York City good enough for you? Hell, I remeber Droz wearing pigtails and NOONE said anything about him being gay. Droz was doing a quasi-gay gimmick at the time. The HeadBangers wore skirts and pointy bras to the ring and NOT ONE person said they were gay. The Headbangers were billed as strange and odd.
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 2, 2002 Yeah. And Chuck Palumbo wore pigtails and no one said he was... oh wait... Can we all just get off this topic? No one on either side is willing to back down and see the other side. The "Jeff is Gay" camp will see his odd clothing choices and label him thusly, and the "cross-dressing does not equal gay" camp will defend Jeff's right to his wardrobe until the next Ice Age. This isn't accomplishing anything. I suggest that at the next house show/ Raw/PPV, someone in attendance just ask Jeff if he is or isn't. Until then, everyone should just go back to their corners and chill out. Everyone's getting a bit riled up and nothing's getting solved (nor do I think it ever will). There's way too much shit going on in the real world RIGHT NOW for any of us to be worrying about who Jeff sticks his dick in. $0.
Guest Ripper Report post Posted April 2, 2002 Why don't we apply that theory to every argument in every thread. Won't this board be fun then?? Seriously, we are here to argue our point of view...I don't think anyone is getting overly riled up. Angle, droz wasn't doing a quasi-gay angle. Unless getting percings and tattoos and wearing stupid hats ALSO make you gay.
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted April 2, 2002 You guys are really pathetic. How many of you have seen Jeff Hardy outside of the WWF? If you have, then you could tell all us what he wears in REAL LIFE. Vader wore a fucking jokcstrap on his face in the ring, but that had nothing to do with is REAL LIFE. I remember seeing some pics of the Hardy Boyz outside of the ring and guess what they were wearing....a baseball cap, wifebeater and jeans. Since all of you depend on stereotypes when forming your opinions, which stereotype does that fit into?
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 2, 2002 Angle, droz wasn't doing a quasi-gay angle. Unless getting percings and tattoos and wearing stupid hats ALSO make you gay. Droz was forced into being a Godfather ho and he liked it. He started challenging people to evening gown matches and having bikini waxes.
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 2, 2002 Touche, ripper. I'm just a little wary of the potential for out and out "flaming" (yeah, I said it ) As for Droz, I do believe they WERE hinting at a "was he/wasn't he" thing. I think it was the fishnet stockings that started it. Hey, whatever gets everyone talking. By the posts in this thread, you'd think Jeff was the most over guy in the Fed. Sure, it's discussion about something other than his wrestling, but what the hey.

Guest notJames Report post Posted April 2, 2002 For real? I didn't think Guidos owned up to their Guidoship... at least not across the Hudson where I live. They HATE that word. Lots of the Guidos in NJ wear that style, but of course only when they're working out or down the shore or beating their wives.
Guest Ripper Report post Posted April 2, 2002 If we all dress like television ads, we can then truly be safe from being confused as gay, because god knows if you go outside the norm, you telling everyone your sexual preference. And Droz was rocking the pony tails before the whole Godfather ho thing. I mean in the "Albert is my tattoo artist, oh yeah and he is pretty big too" stage. He was wereing pigtails to the ring. SHit, I think he was wearing them in the "Drug-dealin Droz" stage. OH MY GOD, ALL DRUG DEALERS WEAR PONY TAILS. THAT MUST MEAN ALL DRUG DEALERS ARE GAY. Why don't we go tell them to thier face. You guys first.

Guest thebear Report post Posted April 2, 2002 He's Probably not gay... but he's one of those guys who get called a fruit because of what he wears, does in his own free time... We all knew one in highschool... He's just one of those really feminine straight guys... or, for all we know, he could be gay... Doesn't matter, he's a decent wrestler, and as long as he doesn't touch a mic, I'm happy... --------------------- "You Swanton a Thousand People and Suck One Cock, Your not the master of the swanton, your a cocksucker" - My drunk friend from last night
Guest Ripper Report post Posted April 2, 2002 How many times has anyone seen Jeff Hardy wearing women pants on the street. Drug Dealers might wear womens pants if they were sent in the ring to wrestle...we don't know......we just don't know.
Guest JHawk Report post Posted April 2, 2002 Drug Dealers might wear womens pants if they were sent in the ring to wrestle...we don't know......we just don't know. Guest notJames Report post Posted April 2, 2002 This thread has given me an idea (and no, I'm not going to go out and wear women's pants ) The following is based on the presumption that: a) Matt and Jeff can act b) the Fed has plans to push him c) the audience is tolerant/receptive to something "different" IIRC, the Goldust character started out stalking Razor Ramon, which led to their IC bout. Most people hated Goldust, but if you think about it, why? Was it a) because he played an over-the-top gay character, or b) because he was making advances toward someone who wasn't receptive? It was never really explored, and eventually Goldust came out and denied the gay aspect by saying it was all mind-games and such. But what if they did it with Jeff? A lot of people (it seems) see him as quasi-gay or gay-seeming. So why not have him do something like kiss one of his opponents in order to fluster him enough to fall into a pinning predicament. Matt confronts Jeff about it... Jeff: Hey man, whatever gets us the win, right? Matt: Does that mean you're... Jeff: Does it matter? More "deviant" behaviour from Jeff leads to more pins, while Matt is more and more concerned about his brother's actions. Jeff neither confirms nor denies, and the guys in the locker room needle Matt about his "weirdo" brother, which makes Matt both mad at them and Jeff, which would drive a wedge between the two brothers and make an effective feud more possible. Much better than putting Lita between them, that's for sure. What's more, it's that shade of grey that people have been asking for... no more cut and dried bad guys and good guys. It would make the audience really examine why they pick either guy's side. Do we hate Matt because he can't accept Jeff's eccentricities, or do we hate Jeff for either "being gay" (which says a lot about the viewers) or for putting Matt through all this needlessly? Again, this is predicated on a lot of factors that probably don't exist, like Matt and Jeff's acting prowess and such. But wouldn't it be refreshing to see some real storytelling and not the ridiculousness of an "I'm pregnant" angle? I think I'd watch it.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted April 2, 2002 This Jeff Hardy crap is getting a little out of control now. What is the big deal with him anyway? Is he "gay" because of the way he dresses? I don't think so. Is he gay because of the way he dyes and styles his hair? No way. There seems to be a lot of flack against Jeff Hardy and none of it seems to be justified. You'd think that a wrestler that sacrifices his body on almost every show to entertain the fans would get a little respect tossed back at him, instead of all the gaybashing. Anyway people seem to forget what year it is now. It's 2002 now BTW and being anti-gay just isn't cool anymore. Sorry.

Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted April 3, 2002 Thanks. I'm just tired of people getting on Jeff Hardy's case because he may or may not be gay. Personally I don't care if he is or isn't and I don't think so many people should either.
Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted April 3, 2002 Or NY/NJ Italians. "Guidos" is the accepted stereotype, I believe... Hey, I'm an NY Guido and I don't dress like that. I'm all New York, 1/2 Guido and I also don't dress like that. I wouldn't consider the wifebeater, jeans, cap stereotype white trash either. White trash is more like Roseanne's family. You know, dirty cap, dirty flannel shirt, dirty jeans, etc.
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 3, 2002 White trash is more like Roseanne's family. You know, dirty cap, dirty flannel shirt, dirty jeans, etc. Wait... I wear that stuff too, but it's 'cuz I'm poor... I'm not even white! (it's true)
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted April 3, 2002 Thanks. I'm just tired of people getting on Jeff Hardy's case because he may or may not be gay. Personally I don't care if he is or isn't and I don't think so many people should either. I think, no scratch that, I know why so many people hate on Jeff Hardy and call him "gay". The same reason so many people hate on boy bands/pop stars and call them "gay" - they're jealous. I know I cringe every time I hear all those 13-20 year old girls screaming every time he takes his shirt off. Well, not so much anymore... but you get the idea. I wish I could take off my shirt and get hundreds of girls to scream at me... well I could but they'd be screaming at me to put it back on Oh yea, as for the Hardy boys outfits, its part of their character. They're dare-devils, doing "amazing" things that aren't in the norm just yet; they wear "cutting edge" clothes that's not in the norm just yet. I know its the only reason I care about their matches anymore... the black light/glow in the dark intro thing is actually kinda cool.

Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted April 3, 2002 i think the hardyz proved they were gay when they wore a shirt that said 3xtreme, i mean sure there are 3 of them but that doesnt make sense then again the hardyz didnt design the shirt and i always thought they were gay in a "o they suck" rather than "they like men" sort of way

Guest Report post Posted April 3, 2002 Jeff Hardy is as queer as the day is long. As if his fruity body paint on PPV wasn't bad enough, he showed up dressed like a Dorothy last night.
Guest Odyssey Wing Report post Posted April 3, 2002 jeff is not gay, but surely the wwf is trying to make him gay... or maybe jeff wants to be gay in the wwf? meh, anyway, jeff looks pretty gay to me in the wwf... at least his 2xtreme side of him the brood jeff was cool, and the michael haye as manager jeff was cool too. so bring back the cool and calm hardyz and push the dance to the music hardyz down the bridge
Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted April 3, 2002 Does it really matter if Jeff Hardy is gay or not? I'm not saying that I condone what he wears to the ring, but that's his own personal preference. This is supposed to be a wrestling forum and all this forum has turned into is a "i-hate-you" battle ground. Personally, I think what he wears to the ring is rediculous, and I can't stand his wrestling skills (trying to committ suicide every ppv isn't skill). But, honestly, I don't really care if he comes out in pigtails or whatever. This post was a waste of time to begin with.....can we get back to wrestling?
