Guest imajackoff? Report post Posted April 2, 2002 I was surprised that it had the attitude logo on it. I thought they were going to make a new logo cuz of the World Wildlife Fund situation. It creates the idea of a totally undisputed champion, a real king of the hill. It also tanked something I would like to see. If you have an undisputed champion, why not sooner or later dispute it? The Undisputed Title is not on the line. A sneaky heel (hell, pick someone) beats the champ in a non title match. But he takes one belt with him. The Undisputed title wasn't on the line, the heel says, but he still won the match and therefore is entitled to one in his own right (note: read that last word as "Mind") The guy defends the belt as if it's a real title, but have it lack the "official" stuff, like the title match graphic and have the heel do the announcing stuff instead of the ring announcer, saying the announcer forgot or something. It designwere taken from the Old WWF Belt(began at WM4), the New Belt(began at Raw after WM14), and the WCW Belt. Just look at it, and you will notice. The design is pretty good because it differentiates itself from both the WWF and WCW World Titles. I think that if Ric Flair (or whoever) had the belt made just a bit bigger, it would've been perfect. Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted April 2, 2002 The final nail in the coffin that holds WCW. Yes WCW was dead already, but now it is officially buried. I was still holding out for brand extension equalling bringing back WCW but that appears to be dead now. The belt is nice but too small. When I saw Flair with it I was expecting him to announce a tourney for a Lightweight champ or something along that line, so it definately seems small to me. And of course it has to have HHH's name on it since he's banging the owner's daughter and he's on both shows. Everyone keeps bringing that up, but you forget that most (if not all) the World title belts had nameplates that were changed with each successive title holder. Remember when Jericho won the undisputed title and commented on the nameplate to the Rock? Now if the belt had a giant HHH carved into the gold buckle, then I'd start raising the eyebrow... The belt buckle he wore that night was bigger than the new Undisputed title belt. Maybe HHH had them make it smaller so he can look more intense....
