Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 Man it sucks that the only version on Pillman/Lyger I've seen is on the commercial tape with 10 FUCKING MINUTES! cut out. Who was the genius that said "hmmm, best match of the night, eh it could stand to be cut in half". So what I'm saying is if anyone has a PPV copy of SuperBrawl II, CONTACT ME! Guest wayzing Report post Posted August 22, 2003 Whooops! I have the commercial tape and I never noticed that match was clipped. But it wasn't that long was it? 10 minutes left out sounds like a lot.
Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 On another note, I proclaim 1992 to probably be the best year for both WWF AND WCW, great PPV's, great matches, Flair, Savage, Hart, Michaels, Sting, Steamboat, Rude, Steiners, LOD, Money Inc, Dangerous Alliance, Mr. Perfect. Think about it, sure there was crap, things can't be perfect but overall I'd say 1992 was one of the best years for North American wrestling.
Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted August 22, 2003 But it wasn't that long was it? 10 minutes left out sounds like a lot. According to PWI the match went 17 minutes and I clocked it at about 7 minutes 45 seconds on the commercial tape.

Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted August 25, 2003 hell thats a bad edit job... but that doesn't top the editing practices of the late 80's in NWA...where half the match times were devoted to PANNING the crowd
Guest Indikator Report post Posted August 28, 2003 The Halloveen Havoc 1989 German Edition was worse. There were only TWO matches on it! It´s wacky to advertise the two main events (Skyscrapers vs. LoD / Sting+Flair vs. Muta+Funk) as a complete Show. The video is also only 45 minutes long. Guest Indikator Report post Posted August 28, 2003 Now I remember the absolut worst clipping job I have ever seen. There was a series of IWCCW tapes (they had a bunch of matches from Memphis, AWA, World Class, ICW, NAWA/SAPW etc.) in Germany and there was a match Bob Orton Jr. vs. Ivan Putski from some high school somewhere in the middle of nowhere. After 6 minutes they were brawling outside of the ring and the footage ended! There was a still frame for 2 seconds and the announcer just said "and Bob Orton has won!"
