Guest Jay Z. Hollywood Report post Posted August 24, 2003 Credit: brutalbutchershoppe.com- they've got t-shirts of CZW guys like Messiah, B-Boy, Wifebeater, Sonjay and Ruckus, good stuff. Copied and pasted verbatim... First Match: Ian Rotten vs Zandig - Exploding cage match There were towels on the cage with wires on them, that were supposed to catch fire when the explosions went off. From what I heard, it was less than successful. They started out with a lot of reversals and stuff to begin with, then Ian Rotten got powerbombed into the cage, causing an explosion. The ref then set a couple of the towels on fire, and whipped Ian into them a couple of times. Some more fighting, then Ian whips Zandig into the cage. Zandig stopped short, but then Ian shoves him into the cage, triggering an explosion. Then, Ian and Zandig started fighting with FLAMING MOPS. No bullshit. Finally, Zandig was laid out on a table, and Ian climbed up to the scaffold over the ring, but Zandig got off the table, climbed up, then after some fighting, Zandig powerslammed Ian off through the table, and pinned him. After the match, Ian got on the mic, and said "I respect you, Zandig." ---------- There is a discussion thread in the BBS.com forum, so you guys have something to do between waiting for matches. Go and post! --------- 2nd match Zbarr vs John Dahmer Cory Kastle accidently dropped Dahmer on his nuts on the top rope, allowing Z-barr to get the pin and the win. That's all I could get before Lars's cell dropped out. ------------ 3rd Match Ruckus defeated Derek Frazer with that freaky powerbomb into a diamond cutter. Frazer hit a DDT on the outside on a chair, and there were a lot of high-flying kicks. I hear it's a REALLY good match; lots of high-flying and great wrestling. ------- Next match is the tag team three way: Backseats vs Ian Knoxx and Adam Flash vs Rockin' Rebel and Greg Matthews ------- Match 4: Backseat boys defeat Irish Drinking Team and Rebel's army in a pretty good match. Backsteats owned the whole match. Ian and Adam ALMOST had the win, but the legal man wasn't pinned, and it was reversed. Matthews was pinned, but wasn't legal, so the backsteats got to keep the titles, and got the FUCK outta there. The decision was reversed after the bell, and the match wasn't re-started. ------ Sonjay vs Johnny Storm up next! ---------- Match #5: Sonjay beats Johnny Storm. Johnny got UNBELIVEABLE heat for the english accent. AWESOME match. Prolly best match of the show. Lots of reversals. All over the ring. Sonjay missed the stardust press... Johnny went for a hurricanrana, sonjay reversed it into a bridge for the pin. -------- FBTW next. Wiffle bat with light tubes, spider net of barb wire with lighttubes, a car grill, cheese grater, WWF Raw Is War toy ring with lightbulbs, Yukeleleley (SP), lighttube crutches, wooden dowel with LONG tacks in it, thumbtack bats, action figure of Beaker from the muppets with thumbtacks, sheet of mousetraps and barb wire aluminum ladder. ---------- Match #6: JC Bailey vs Necro butcher. They beat the SHIT out of each other. VCR to the head, lighttubes... Necro appempted a superplex on JC onto chairs and the barb wire ladder, but JC reversed it onto CONCRETE. Necro ended up choking out JC for the win. Zandig came out to congradulate IWA... saying that CZW didn't have anyone to offer... he acutally PUT OVER IWA. Ian came out, shook hands with Zandig, then HI-V came out, and beat the shit out of everyone. Corm snuck up on Messiah, and attacked him, and... IMPROMPTU MATCH!! Match #7: Messiah vs Corporal Robinson. Used the rest of the weapons around the ring. Messiah jumped off the top rope with the barb wire ladder and lighttubes, landing on corp. The end came with Messiah giving Corp a Minchinoku Driver off the stage throgh chairs and shit. ---------- Attendance is about 300-350. The explosions weren't nearly as big as they were at COD2. Lars is assuming that this isn't much of an invasion anymore... it's more like they all respect each other and shit. Necro took a STIFF VCR to the head. Nothing too disgusting, though. Biggest bump was Ian getting slammed off the scaffolding into the cage, but the fans went CRAZY for Necro's bump onto the concrete. Ric Blade isn't there, and we don't know where he is. Start time was about five minutes after 5. Jude didn't work... dunno if he's there. The cage was like the cage at COD2. (Chian link fence.) 200 Lighttubes is Next! ------------ After the show, people, as SOON as Lars gets home, he will be posting an exclusive photo gallery from tonights show on this very board! Lars has told me that he's got some AWESOME shots from the show, and you people KNOW you wanna see this! ---------- Main Event: 200 Lighttubes: Nate Hatred vs Nick Gage. Hatred wins by Trent sneaking in and blasting Gage with a Yakuza kick, and Hatred getting rolled onto him. BEST 200 lighttubes match that Lars has seen. EVERY single tube was used. Hatred's shoulder was bleeding like crazy. The back of Gage's head was split open. Hatred broke 10-11 lighttubes in about 20 seconds. Gage did a frog splash right before the screwjob. There was a suplex by Gage onto four chairs with tubes. TOTAL violence and mayhem. At the beginning, Gage tossed a lighttube to Hatred, Hatred caught it, and Gage slamming him with an elbow. HI-V stretched out Gage from corner to corner, and attacked him until CZW and IWA came out to save. And guess what? CZW is coming back to Rack's ONE MORE TIME this year! (possibly october.) Show over.

Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2003 Did anyone say what Zandig's "big surprise" ended up being? None really. There's photos of the show here: http://www.divinex.com/photos/respect My opinions: Cage - Decent enough. Explosions were nothing special, but the fans expect so much when CZW simply can't do certain things without problems from fire departments. Dahmer vs. Barr - Two faces against each other. Yeah, good idea. Heatless, but at least they're going to do something with Kastle, as Dahmer was pissed at him after the match. Frazier vs. Ruckus - What the fuck is everyone busting a nut over this for? Ugly match. Frazier and Ruckus think transitions are blocking and reversing kicks, which is what they did about six or seven times during the match. Sonjay vs. Storm - Storm did get a lot of heat for the accent. By comparison to Frazier vs. Ruckus, great match. On a normal scale, kind of blah at times. Minus one blown spot that was covered up nicely, it flowed nicely. Backseats vs. BSB vs. Rebel's Army - Nothing great, nothing bad as far as the wrestling goes. Ending was FUCKING HORRIBLE. Fans Bring the Weapons - Crazy shit. Necro spit alcohol into Bailey's face (which caused him to almost get sick from the taste), Necro having it poured into his eyes, a bowling ball being dropped on Bailey's chest, Necro being superplexed to the fucking floor, and lots of other crazy shit. Messiah vs. Corp - Usual deathmatch with a nice end bump. 200 Light Tubes - One of the best they've done. I like where they're going with this CZW/IWA vs. Hi-V feud. Should make for some good matches, and a great COD depending on where they go with it.
