Kazaa Lite K++ 2.42 released!

Recommended Posts

Download here

This adds a hack that blocks RIAA IP addresses so you won't get the corrupted files with the screeching noises.

Do I need to configure anything for it to get it to do that, or is it default?

default

But after you install it and have it running, click the "tools" button and then click "IP Blocker Update".

From there you can update the listing of verified RIAA servers so that Kazaa blocks their files from showing up in your search results.

I checked "update from peerGuardian" when updating because that's not affiliated with Kazaa K++ and their server list is updated more often than Kazaa's.

I also like to turn off file-sharing through "Kazaa Lite K++ Options" to be on the safe side.

Speaking of P2P downloads, anyone try EarthStation 5. All the hype over it, I tried it and its the worst piece of software ever created.

I'll probably check out the above download..

I wouldn't say that, although it doesn't really have a ton of good stuff and it's still a bit buggy. The real appeal of ES5 for me is the direct verified downloads and the streaming movie site. Not to mention the VOIP for free international calling, online gaming, etc etc.

If you go on the forums you can get into downloading full albums and first run movies from their ftps

It still works for me.

I check "update from PeerGuardian IP Database" and click "check update".

Then a "Bad IP Ranges have been updated" window pops up and the date changes to the current date.
