Brock Lesnar's new nickname

Recommended Posts

According to the official WWE Smackdown preview from the website, they are calling Brock Lesnar the "Manster". Is he supposed to be Mantaur's cousin or something?

What other stupid wrestling nicknames can you think of that people with somewhat regular wrestling names had?

Manster? I told you that whole Kurt-Brock thing was supposed to be a gay storyline!

I thought that he was "The Real" Brock Lesnar now? So now he's going to be the "Manster," "The Real" Brock Lesnar...

Tazz and Cole have occasionally called him a manster since...like....June. Doesn't anyone pay attention? It's just a casual nickname that hasn't been used much. 'The Real" is the real "new nickname"

I'm still waiting for Billy Gunn's son to come to WWE as "Son of a Gunn"!

Michael Cole and Tazz have called Brock a 'Manster' for a good few weeks now.

I never figured why they called Ken Shamrock 'The World Most Dangerous Man' - I mean, when he lost, the nickname just seemed to take the pi$$ more than anything else.

Lets just think of it this way...if HHH/Steph don't have kids, its only another 30 years of them on TV.

Well I'm glad someone else questioned the coolness of 'MANSTER'. It sounds really stupid.

'Teflon Test'. Yup. Remember 'Doubting Test' from the spring of 2002 where Test would challenge Mark Henry to different tests of strength? Both were Michael Cole connotations, and fucking awful.

And finally, 'Jamie's Got a Gunn'. Just horrible. And ambiguous.

Manster is a horrible nickname. However, it's not as bad as "The Creature from the Planet Goldberg," "Booger Red," "Big Nasty," "Freakzilla," or "Bubba Tough." (I think this is what JR called Bubba Dudley for a bit, then stopped when he realized it sucked)
