For people with bulging/herniated discs...

Recommended Posts

For the past couple of years I have had near constant back pain, ranging from mild to severe. I've gone to a chiropractor every couple of weeks for a long time now, and the treatment only helps me feel better for a few days, if at all. Recently, I've even had to get my knees adjusted because due to the misalignment of my spine, the bones in and around my right knee have popped out of place. I also have a feeling of extreme pressure in my neck and sciatica (pain and numbness resulting from the aforementioned problems) in my leg and thigh areas.

At the moment, I have at least 2 and possibly 3 bulging/herniated discs in my back, and I'm not going to continue the endless cycle of mostly useless chiropractic treatment any longer. I know there must be some form of successful treatment to eliminate the problem that doesn't involve surgery, but I have yet to find anything conclusive in my extensive search of various medical websites. If there's anyone else around here who has experienced anything similar to what I'm going through and has overcome it, please reply with any information that may help lead me in the right direction.

I have Sherman's disease. It means the plates in my back rub against the nerves.

I reccomend lots of Massages and Weed

I was never severely overweight, although I had been overweight to some degree for most of my life. I was up to 168 pounds (and I'm 5'8") until earlier this year, and I dropped down to 132. Right now I've stabilized around the 140 pound mark. I'm pretty sure my weight doesn't have anything to do with it, but I guess I can never be sure. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Yes it does. I have to take serious pain killers (With my drinking habits that a disaster waiting to happen).

I was very happy when I got promoted to a site manager so know I WATCH them cut logs.
