Remember this wcw screw up

It was 1994. Sting was the WCW International champion; and Ric Flair was the WCW world champion. They had a match scheduled at Clash of the Champions, the same Clash that Hogan made his WCW debut. The match was to unify the titles, since that whole international title thing was pathetic.

anyway, two weeks before the Clash......WCW went to the control center as they were supposed to go over the Clash of the champions card, but Nooooooooooooooo. They didn't go over the Clash card, but they did go over the Bash at the Beach PPV. The only problem with that is..... the PPV was a month after the Clash.

We get to Meane Gene and he say the following.... " Ric Flair wins his 12th world title at Clash of the champions, but for how long? at Bash at the beach, we will see, Ric Flair defending the WCW world title against..... Hulk Hogan.

They also showed other matches that were scheduled for BATB and it pretty much gave away the entire Clash card.

only in WCW

Of course, let's not forget that WWF issued a magazine in 1988 that referred to Randy Savage as the new undisputed WWF Heavyweight Champion and it hit the stands a good week before WrestleMania IV.

I don't remember that WCW screwup but it is pretty bad.  Remind me of watching Raw on TSN  Monday night.  They showed the first half of the show normally, then started playing Vince/Flair/Austin from the end.  A little ways into that it gets cut off and the show continues normally after 15 minutes or so.  Then they played all the McMahon/Flair vignetts in the wrong order and didn't show the HHH belt presentation.

To TSN:

You Fucked Up!, You Fucked Up!, You Fucked Up!, You Fucked Up!, You Fucked Up!, You Fucked Up!

There was one time prior to Slamboree 95 where they were advertising The Great Muta defending the IWGP Title against Paul Orndorff.  Problem was Muta didn't actually win the title until a week or so after the announcement.  Mike Tenay reported the title change on the WCW Hotline and called it "the worst kept secret in wrestling".
