Sandman9000 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2003 IWA-MS Board The management of IWA Mid-South Hardcore Wrestling regretfully must announce that the three events scheduled for this weekend (8/29, 8/30, and 8/31) at the IWA Arena in Clarksville, Indiana will not take place. credit: The IWA Board Late this afternoon, the landlord of the building had the locks of the venue changed, and due to court order we are not permitted inside the building until Tuesday. Our two rings and everything else necessary to move the shows to a new location or anything of that nature are locked inside the building. We apologize to all of the wrestling fans who made plans to attend this weekend's events, but at this point the situation is out of our hands. We will me making an announcement during the coming days regarding the next IWA Mid-South live events. Keep checking the web site as well as the IWA hotline at 502-569-1701 for all of the latest information. Thank you for your patience, and thank you for supporting IWA Mid-South. This was supposed to be IWA-MS' last hurrah until finding a new building wherever, and their asshole landlord (and this is an asshole move by that guy, no doubts about it) ruins it. Ian and Co. need all the help they can get. I recommend that anyone who has the money buy some IWA-MS videos from SMV. 2002 TPI, Ultra Styles Clash Weekend, When Hero Met Punk, and the 2003 KODM (of which I've seen half of Night 1 and it's already worth my $30), among others, are definitely worth your money.
