How many heel face turns has Aj Styles had

I never get to watch TNA that much but one thing I've noticed when I do watch it is that AJ Styles always bounce between face and heel. So I was wonderin how many heel/face turns has he had

Let's see.

 

When he started he was a face...then turned heel for the Jerry Lynn feud. He stayed heel for a long time...losing to Jarrett as a heel in his NWA title shot (even though he was getting cheered...he was still always booked a heel).

 

Then he turned face during his feud with S.E.X. and Glen Gilberti and went on to team with D-Lo...

 

Then turned heel again when he won the NWA title.

 

So...not that many.

 

The problem is the fans in the Asylum just cheer and boo whoever they want...but he's been a heel almost his entire TNA career. Hell...even as a face the first time he was almost immediately booked as cocky and put on a path to heeldom.

 

So...

 

Quasi-face for about 4 weeks. Heel for a LONG time. Face for a little while. Heel when he won the title and is still a heel.

I always thought of Styles as a tweener in between his title loss to Jarrett and his title win.

He was booked as a heel, and cheered by the crowd.

 

He's STILL cheered by the crowd despite being a heel at this point.

but he doesn't want to do anything right now.

Sting will probably use his last 3 appearances to do a mini-feud with AJ and put him over.

 

Then AJ'll drop the belt to Jarrett almost immediately after. Just a feeling I habe.
