CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 Some highlights from segment 2: - Mick watches a clip of Hogan from December knocking Foley for never being in shape during his career. He was quite insulted by this, saying that people who wrestled him would have said he was deceptively in shape. He then knocks Hogan for wrestling embarassing matches. - He still says he would like to do a program with Hogan (the three feuds he's never had that he'd like to were Hogan, Flair and Bruiser Brody). Said that they could have an exciting match, if not technically sound, and pointed to Hogan/McMahon from WrestleMania as an example. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Mick doesn't hold Vince responsible, saying that the wrestlers must ultimately be accountable for their own well-being. Said that WWE has a good track record for going after wrestlers who have a problem and making sure they get help if they want it. - Mick disagrees with the host that painkillers were not the only way to get through the daily grind. He decided early on that he wouldn't take painkillers unless they were absolutely necessary, and only took them regularly in his last year. - Mick thought a union would be a good idea, possibly under ACTRA or SAG. It is a dark book, going so far as to say his mother read it (it was dedicated to her) and never mentioned it to him again. But he sees it as being a "light at the end of the tunnel" type book. - Says that the narrator was himself at 17, insecurities and all; he drew upon a number of wrestling characters when writing the father. - Relates the gamble to the gamble he took in moving away from the tough-guy image that most wrestlers are perceived to have, especially with the things he'd done making him a legit tough guy, and being very successful at it.
