Guest y2jailbait Report post Posted April 3, 2002 That game had to be the greatest. The Royal Rumble was hella awesome on that. There was a skating rink where i lived and i would go there all the time and domainate the rumble with Jake the snake. Man, 1 ddt and the opponet is out. But the funny thing is that i couldnt skate a lick, but i balanced myself just right enough to head over to the game and kick earthquake, demolition's and Hulk Hogans brains in. Man, those were the days!
Guest Your Olympic Hero1 Report post Posted April 3, 2002 Scary thing is, 4 of the wrestlers in that game have been active in the WWF over the past 6 months (Hogan, Bossman, Perfect, and Slaughter)
Guest Report post Posted April 3, 2002 That game was THE SHIT!!!!!!!! I still say that's THE greatest WWF game ever. God I wish I had one of those machines. Remember how a bunch of dudes could dogpile a guy and pin him? Or how just slamming the buttons randomly would do your finishing move? Wrestlefest is 2 SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted April 3, 2002 I love that game, I play it on my PC whenever I get the chance. My version has no sound though, does anyone else experience that?
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 4, 2002 That game truly rocked the house. It was the only game I played at the arcade for a long time. I actually got through the tag team series (beat LOD twice) on one quarter. Usually it took two, sometimes three, but damn was I happy as a clam when I finally got Hawk (I think) down for the three! Warrior always did the job (in the good way) for the Rumble portion. Just grapple, face the right way, then slam the guy out of the ring. I think I either threw out or tossed every person once. Lord knows it took a while to do that. It probably took 2 quarters since the time ran out so fast.
Guest Report post Posted April 4, 2002 I remember playing that game in a local Godfather's Pizza (now long gone)...my sister would always beat my ass in it (since she was a lot older than me), and I, being a sore loser, would always throw a fit. Good times.
Guest y2jailbait Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Yeah, i wonder what happens to all those machines when they get taken out, does someone by them or do they just give em away, i really wanna play that game again.
Guest Your Olympic Hero1 Report post Posted April 4, 2002 You can play it on your computer - against people online! (I shit you not). You have to download MAME32k: http://genghis.winamp.com/~christ....a09.exe After you've installed it you have to find the ROM of the game "WWF Wrestlefest" (go to Google and search for "WWF Wrestlefest ROM"). Once you've found it, place the zip file into the "ROM" directory in the MAME directory. Then start the program and right-click the game to configure it (if you want to use a joystick/gamepad and whatnot). Then double-click it to play offline, or go file-play network game to start a game against other people. Hope this helps
