Guest Mindless_Aggression Report post Posted September 4, 2003 So I got Soul Seek and its working fine the first couple of days and now it apparently cannot quote "Resolve server address problem." Anyone have a clue to what this means? And is anyone else having the same problem or are me and or my computer just complete morons? It's been doing this for a day or so now. Guest I'm That Damn Zzzzz Report post Posted September 5, 2003 To solve: Put the following four lines at the bottom of your HOSTS file: 38.115.131.131 sk2.slsk.org 38.115.131.131 www.slsk.org 38.115.131.131 mail.slsk.org 38.115.131.131 server.slsk.org If you have XP, paste the following line in the Run box to open the hosts file in Notepad: %windir%\NOTEPAD.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts If soulseek's IP address changes in the future you'll have to remove those four lines.
