FX's The Shield Continues to Score:

In what is quickly turning into the water-cooler show of the season, new FX drama The Shield had another impressive delivery with episode two at a 3.7 (coverage area) household rating and 2.8 million homes this past Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET. One week earlier the show debuted at a record-high 4.1 rating with 3.1 million homes. That makes household retention week two vs. week one at a solid 90 percent. The encore of the pilot immediately followed at 10 p.m. with a 2.1 rating and 1.6 million homes.
