Guest Karnage Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Oh, and does anyone know a store in Canada where i can get ECW DVDs? I only found the videos at Wal-Mart and when i ordered POD online, Canada Post charged me custom fees.
Guest Annoyed Grunt Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 I bought the Dudley Boyz DVD at Cinema 1 here in Canada. Although, I think I'm the only one on the net who actually likes the DVD
Guest Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 I'm not sure if it's my favorite but I liked Path of Destruction.
Guest razazteca Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Heat Wave 98 gotta love Hayabusa's match I concur that the best of DVDs suck for Dudleys
Guest Karnage Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Notice how all the names sound like Porno titles?
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 5, 2002 Report Posted April 5, 2002 Virgin Records carries ECW DVD's in Canada. I got Path of Destruction and Extreme Evolution there. The prices suck though.
Guest Jericholic82 Posted April 6, 2002 Report Posted April 6, 2002 Hey do you guys know if the ecw dvds work with a ps2 and xbox? btw, is the cactus jack one any good, and is the dvd better than the vhs version
Guest Karnage Posted April 6, 2002 Report Posted April 6, 2002 My friend had no problems with POD on his XBOX. And DVDs are always superior to the video, except for the WWF's recent ones.
Guest Some Guy Posted April 6, 2002 Report Posted April 6, 2002 The Cactus jack DVD is great, I've never seen the VHS but DVD's are usually superior quality. I like POD and Best of Cactus the best. Heatwave, Anarchy Rules, and Guity as Charged, anything good on them? I don't need much to convince myself to drop $20 on wrestling DVDs.
Guest Annoyed Grunt Posted April 6, 2002 Report Posted April 6, 2002 Heatwave 98 has a little bit of something for everyone. The main event is a better than usual ECW style brawl, there's a clusterfuck/spotfest with RVD and Sabu vs. Hayabusa and the guy who was Hakushi in the WWF (can you tell I don't know my Puro?) and solid wrestling from Jerry Lynn/ Justin Credible and Lance Storm/Chris Candido. The highlight of the PPV is quite the awesome brawl between Mike Awesome and Masato Tanaka. However, I don't think the DVD has much in the way of extras, if any.
Guest Mark4steamboat Posted April 6, 2002 Report Posted April 6, 2002 Hardcore History is great. Benoit and Malenko vs taz and sabu is great and of course the dog collar match.
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 6, 2002 Report Posted April 6, 2002 I've watched mine lots on PS2 so I know that works.
Guest MoneyIvezaj Posted April 6, 2002 Report Posted April 6, 2002 I heard that the PPV DVDs are the same as the VHS PPVs. And that the cactus DVD and VHS are the same aslo.
