Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2003 I picked up Battle Royale at Waldenbooks yesterday, and the introduction (called a 'rant') is about the wrestling match type of Battle Royale, mentioning Road Warriors, and I think Misawa and Kobashi among others. Guest Crucifixio Jones Report post Posted September 8, 2003 It simply explains the rules of a wrestling battle royal and presumably it's there to show the differences and similarities between the strategies employed in those and in the deadly Battle Royale you're about to read. It won't make much sense at first, but after you read the book it should make more. Or maybe you're looking for too deep a meaning in a little three-page rant about how there could be confusion between the two types of Battle Royales.
