KCW to promote cancer research via upcoming show

My name is Jamie Eichenlaub and I'm a member of the NPC, Inc. (Claysburg, PA) Relay For Life team, which is teaming up with Keystone Championship Wrestling (KCW) for a pro wrestling cancer benefit show Saturday, October 11 at 7 p.m. at the Frankstown Armory in Altoona. Keystone Championship Wrestling and NPC, Inc. Relay For Life team present pro wrestling cancer benefit show

Keystone Championship Wrestling (KCW) and the NPC, Inc. Relay For Life team will combine efforts for a pro wrestling cancer benefit show Saturday, October 11 at 7 p.m. at the Frankstown Armory in Altoona, PA.

 

Tickets are $10 in advance and can be purchased at Battery Warehouse, 1632 Pleasant Valley Blvd., in Altoona, or $12 at the door.

 

The Sandman, former ECW and WCW star and current star on the NWATNA weekly pay-per-view program, along with KCW stars Matt Vandal of Hollidaysburg and Sebastian of Clearfield will headline the show. Other wrestlers confirmed for the show are Dr. Feelgood, Youth Gone Wild (Dave Daniels and Xander Graves) with Taylor, Big Lenny, Zubov, Da Munchies (The Shiek and Dick Trimmins) Mercury Flash with Mystic, and Kasanova Kato.

 

World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (WWE) donated a variety of t-shirts, visors, pendants and glossy photos for a raffle drawing that will take place during intermission of the show. Raffle tickets are $1 each and can be purchased at the show. Fans who attend the show also will have a chance to win FREE t-shirts courtesy of the WWE. All proceeds from the show will support the NPC Relay For Life team fundraising efforts that benefit the American Cancer Society and cancer research. NPC's Relay team will donate a portion of the proceeds to assist employee Johnathan "Skunk" Dodson, 19, of Claysburg, PA, who was diagnosed with Leukemia in July.

 

NPC's Relay team participates in the Pennsylvania Blair Region's Relay For Life to help raise money for the American Cancer Society and cancer research. The team has raised nearly $25,000 since 1996.

 

NPC, Inc. (Claysburg, PA) is a full-service, digital and printed document services provider in central Pennsylvania. Operating since 1954, NPC remains a privately held company, employing over 400 people.

 

KCW is a local independent pro wrestling organization that has been operating for two years in central Pennsylvania.
