PS1 imports on PS2...

I found a copy of Fire Pro G, for Playstation, at a local flea market. The ones who sell it show up every week and guarantee the games. I asked if this would work on a US PS2 and they weren't sure, but said I could take it back if it doesn't work.

 

Well, I tried it, and it doesn't work. It seems to not recognize the disc. I'd still like to play it if there's a way I can get it to work on my PS2. I had an original model Playstation that would play imports with the Game Enhancer add on. Any of the current game enhancers out there--Gameshark, Action Replay, etc play imports?

 

If not, I guess I just have to take this back.

I think there's a way to do it with the gameshark, but you'd have to be able to take out the tray without hitting the eject button. You can use either the flip top lid or the slide card method.

There's a way to do it with a specially formatted memory card file, but I can't help you with that.
