Well.

We're down to the final 6.

 

Brisbane: In form with a couple of main players out going for their third premiership in a row

 

Pt Adelaide: Have DOMINATED all season but a loss in their qualiying final has put them a bit under the hammer.

 

Collingwood: Massively in form and a strong side. A win against brisbane shoots them right into the prelims and they look favourites at the moment.

 

Essendon: Seem to always fire up for the finals, beat freo last week (In Perth) when no one expected them too.

 

Sydney: Put in a gutsy performance to beat Pt Adelaide on Sunday ( in Adelaide) and they're through to the Prelims also.

 

and Adelaide: Made mince meat out of West Coast last saturday, however they have been riding poor form into the finals.

 

THE MATCHES

SEMI FINALS:

 

1. Adelaide vs Brisbane (winner to play Collingwood for a shot at the GRAND FINAL)

 

2. Pt Adelaide vs. Essendon (winner plays Sydney and then onto the GRAND)

 

1. The Adelaide crows vs. The Brisbane Lions. This will be played in Brisbane and so they will be favourites to win, however Adelaide are on the rebound (slipping from second to sixth after 3 straight losses where the team was down with the flu) and looking as strong as when they were at their peak (about 5 weeks ago). As some may be able to tell by my name I'm a mad keen Adelaide supporter and so this weekend my money is on Adelaide to pull through to the preliminary finals.

 

2. Pt Adelaide Power vs. Essendon bombers. As good as the Power are during the home and away season they just can't seem to play finals football. Pt have NEVER won a final and though this too is in Adelaide I can't see them pulling through. Also as a mad Adelaide supporter I wish sickness and pain upon every Pt supporter and player so I will relish an essendon win on the weekend.

 

To take away the cup?!?!?!

My heart says: ADELAIDE WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO

My head says: Collingwood

 

best case scenario: Adelaide vs. Sydney in the grand final

worst case: Collingwood vs. Port or Collingwood vs essendon.
