Downhome 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2003 So I went and picked up the latest issue of OPM, the October issue, and to my suprise not only did this game get "Game of the Month", but it also got a perfect score with 5/5 discs. It's a pretty solid review, focusing mainly just on the gameplay aspects of the single player mode. If any of you want to check it out, I STRONGLY advise you to head over to FilePlanet and download the PC demo. The game is simply outstanding, and I can't say enough good things about it. The very day that this one is released, I'll be picking up a copy. This is going to be one of those games that sneaks under the rader, much like Mark of Kri, Hitman 2, and ICO. So yeah, the game is getting great reviews, and I know first hand. So check out the demo, it kicks all kinds of ass. To be honest, I'm almost looking forward to this game more than anything else this year. I'm a sucker for these games that come out that hardly anyone talks about, but end up being a great game. Much like the ones I listed in my initial post. It irks me to no end that so many people would rather have a sub-par game that is well known over a game that isn't talked about as much yet is fantastic. I will also definately be picking this up.. nice to see some Hitman 2 sounds in there.. the PC demo was unreal.. if the full game is anything like it.. i'm so there. Hell yes it's worth it, and I assure you that you'll love it. It'll take a few minutes to learn how to play it and just how exactly you are supposed to play it, but once you master it, or at least learn how to do the basics, you'll never look back.
