Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2003 First off no one lived at the house anymore, and no one was hurt or killed. It must of started around 4:30, Tuesday afternoon. These 4 kids came to our house telling us smoke was coming out from a small shed in our lawn (it was nothing). Me and my brother go outside, and the house across the alley is on fire. It's a pretty big fire, flames are big, smoke is thick. To make matters worse the wind was blowing tje smoke right towards our house. The entire block was sealed off, at least 5 fire trucks where at the scene. About an hour or so later the fire was pretty much out. Tonight they already started to tear the house down. Not sure if they finished but they were close. On the news they said it was 3 alarm, and fire fighters had to work double shifts and they called the fire suspicious.
