Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted September 13, 2003 Last night's edition of Smackdown scored a 4.5 metered rating, with a 7 share. The final number should be available later today. The 10/5 house show in Moncton, NB has an announced main events of HHH and Randy Orton taking on Rob Van Dam and Booker T. The 10/17 house show in Manchester, NH has an announced main event of Shane McMahon vs. Kane in a Street Fight. They are also advertising Rob Van Dam and Goldberg vs. HHH and Randy Orton. The 10/11 house show in Norfolk, VA also has an announced main event of Shane McMahon vs. Kane in a Street Fight, plus a six-man tag team match pitting HHH, Randy Orton and Ric Flair vs. Goldberg, Shawn Michaels and Rob Van Dam. As you can plainly see, Goldberg will be working a decent amount of house shows in the coming weeks, which leads me to believe that he will be taking the World Heavyweight Championship from HHH at Unforgiven. (Thanks to 1wrestling.com) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WWE has made the decision to pull Jerry "The King" Lawler from the 9/19 Major League Wrestling Event in Fort Lauderdale, Florida just days before the event is scheduled to take place. Lawler was scheduled to team with The Sandman, Terry Funk, and Steve Williams against Simon Diamond, C.W. Anderson, and Steve Corino in a "War Games" style cage match. The reason given for pulling Lawler from the show is because officials claimed that MLW now has national clearance on The Sunshine Network, they are considered a competitor. According to reports, this decision was made by Vince McMahon himself. With Lawler being removed from the show, MLW was forced to remove all references to Lawler out of Monday's Underground TV show, which will be the final show before the War Games event. The match will still take place, however, but it's unknown at this time who will be Lawler's replacement. MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 Foley co-hosting with Jimmy Kimmel for the whole week should be hillarious. Did anyone see the lame backyard wrestlers that were on there the other night?
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted September 14, 2003 I heard a rumor that UT wanted to put Cena over but Vince no pobo'd it. Any truth to this? 'Twas posted here about a week after Vengeance. ALWAYS keep this in mind - from now on, whenever Taker looks strong, it is Vince's doing, for the Taker-Vince feud for Survivor Series. Taker's going up against the Genetic Jackhammer after all! Fökai 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 Did anyone see the lame backyard wrestlers that were on there the other night? Judging by this report sent in to Meltzer, I would've LOVED to see it... --Speaking of Kimmel, all the reports we got on last night's show with The Lizard said it was a total and complete embarrassment. They bragged about blading as one of the guys had massive forehead scars. Kimmel said the two guys had the combined IQ of a Dalmatian. They used chair shots, a snap suplex on a mouse trap and a German suplex on thumb tacks, as well as a swanton off a ladder through a table (thanks to Sandeep Kumar, Clancy Gilpatrick and many others)

Yeah, what competition--I guess Vince realizes that he can't afford to let a huge money-drawing competitor like Lawler take part in that show. Is that was "TSN" in Canada stands for? BWAHAHAHA!!! That's almost as bad as "Spike TV."
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 Is that was "TSN" in Canada stands for? BWAHAHAHA!!! The Sunshine Network is in Florida. I believe it is their UPN affiliate, but don't quote me on that. TSN stands for The Sports Network.
