Guest nl5xsk1 Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Horsmen vs. DA in a wargames ... who wins? Teams: 4H: Flair, AA, Tully, Ole, JJ Dillon DA: Austin, Rude, Zbyszko, Eaton, Paul E. (or Madusa, if you'd prefer) Arn goes with the Horsemen because he was there first.
Guest Tony149 Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 This is a tough one. I liked both groups, but I'll have to say the 4 Horsemen. War Games was pretty much their match. Horsemen play the role of tweeners, while the Dangerous Alliance are full blown heels. Here's how I would see this match going.... Period 1 Horsemen - Ole D.A. - Larry Z D.A. win the coin toss. Period 2 D.A. - Steve Austin Horsemen - Tully Period 3 D.A. - Bobby Eaton Horsemen- Arn Period 4 D.A. - Rick Rude Horsemen - Ric Flair Period 5 D.A. - Paul E. Horsemen - J.J. Dillion The Match Beyond Begins - Horsemen win after Paul E. surrenders to the Figure-4 leglock.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 The Alliance wins with those teams. Replace Ole with Luger and I would change my mind, however.
Guest Sykotic2002 Posted April 4, 2002 Report Posted April 4, 2002 I say whoever was booked to win would win. But seriously, I don't really know. I don't think War Games was really the Horsemen's match. They lot everyone they were in except the one where Sid almost killed Pillman.
Guest Tony149 Posted April 4, 2002 Report Posted April 4, 2002 I don't think War Games was really the Horsemen's match. They lot everyone they were in except the one where Sid almost killed Pillman. They lost most of their matches, but War Games is best remembered for the Horsemen. They are tied in the most appearances in War Games matches. Horsemen appeared 3 times '87, '91 & '97. The other group to appear 3 times is the nWo in '96, '97 & '98 (That was an ugly War Games match).
Guest nl5xsk1 Posted April 4, 2002 Report Posted April 4, 2002 Since very few people are voicing an opinion, should I include a battle between the "new-school" factions of DX & the NWO ... Teams: DX: HHH, XPac, New Age Outlaws, Chyna NWO: Hall, Nash, Hogan, Giant, Bischoff (holy crap, how horrible of a match would that be?!?)
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 4, 2002 Report Posted April 4, 2002 There would be buckets of blood poured if the horsemen took on the dangerous alliance. Paul E. can do a ***** Bill Alfonso style bladejob.
Guest Tony149 Posted April 4, 2002 Report Posted April 4, 2002 I can see it now. All those guys don't mind taking out the blade. I think it's safe to say if that match ever took place, it would be the bloodiest match ever!
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 4, 2002 Report Posted April 4, 2002 Ha Ha Ha. I would kill to see that match.
Guest Tony149 Posted April 4, 2002 Report Posted April 4, 2002 This is a little off-topic, but it involves blood, and a member of the Dangerous Alliance. Did Rick Rude ever blade? I don't remember him ever blading. Although I think he may have against Piper in a Cage match.
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 4, 2002 Report Posted April 4, 2002 I have that match on a tape. Rick Rude blades in the Cage Match with Piper for sure.
Guest Tony149 Posted April 4, 2002 Report Posted April 4, 2002 I figured Rude bladed against Piper. I always thought he didn't like to blade because of his gimmick.
