Well, at first it was the Bringers but they got the upper hand. Then the Ubievamp that Buffy finally figured how to defeat. Then Caleb, and finally the big battle. So it wasn't just bringers and a ghost.

 

Anywasy, there was no reason for Buffy to go back to what she was. Things had changed in a big way.

Well, she had just gone through an incredibly dark period after being taken out of heaven and was really trying to find something to cling to on Earth. And she was facing the ultimate evil, plus what she was doing was being questioned the entire season, especially Spike and her leadership.

Actually, she was pretty much over the whole "taken out of heaven" thing. In "Bargaining Pt 2" she was forced out of her grave. But in "Grave" she left it on her own.

The US box arts are so much better. It really bothers me how Anya never gets a disc though. Glory, Oz, and Tara getting disc art is so weaksauce. If Anya doesn't get a disc in season 7 I will weep. They'll probably give her spot to Kennedy or something just to piss me off. This small stuff bugs me. They never give Emma her props. It's no wonder she wanted out. They always hold her down.

 

 

 

 

There was a lot of time where it was just Bringers, which are just lame. Then there was a lot of time inbetween killing the ubie and Caleb where there was no threat except hype. Joss himself admits FE wasn't much of a threat and didn't work out like they had thought, that's why Caleb was brought in.

The Beast is cool. I like his voice and the way he like nods and laughs is funny.

 

 

Angel season 4 makes FE look even weaker. Buffy freaking out about how they're all going to die because of ubies is worse when you take into account that Angel was actually dealing with a real threat at the same time. It's kind of weird to think that while this is going on just a few hours away Sunnydale was the center of another big evil's attempt to end the world.

I know she won't get a disc. There's 6 regulars and 6 discs so she like has to but they'll find a way to hold her down. They'll give her spot to a SIT or to Caleb or to Giles. Just watch. I know it. Unless it's Andrew I will freak. If I was in charge I would put her on the front of the box art too, but that's never going to happen. I know that they hate Xanya fans.

God, I hope Buffy The Animated Series becomes a reality. I want something new on TV. I am worried I'm going to run out of things to think and talk about. What is going to happen years from now when there is no Buffy of any kind? It will be terrible. I want a spin off or whatever.

There are other shows on TV worth watching. 24 is supposed to be very good. Uh...I like Joe Schmoe 2. Smallville is getting some Buffyverse writers, as is Alias, so they could be worth watching. TV will go on without the Buffyverse (which sucks, but what can ya do).

And then they followed up the AWESOME Storyteller with Lies My Parents Told Me. I tell you, the Wood/Spike fight = greatest fight of the season after Dirty Girls. Of what I can remember, at least.
